Is Britney Becoming a Jew?

When Britney Spears decides to do something, she really goes all out, doesn’t she? If she wants to spend more time with her kids, she locks herself in a bathroom with one of them. If she wants to get a haircut, she shaves her entire head. Now, she’s started dating her agent, Jason Trawick, and to prove her love, she’s going to become a Jew - just like him.

I don’t think this is a good idea. Just from past experience, when she’s totally given herself to someone, it didn’t work out so well. She let Sam Lufti have complete control over her life. Now she’s under her father’s conservatorship for god knows how long. She totally ‘fell completely in love’ with Adnan Ghalib and then was shocked when he started cheating on her. Now she has a restraining order against him. So, this latest move of hers has a rabbi following her around on tour to teach her the new religion and she wears a Star of David around her neck to prove that she’s ready to become a Jew. I really hope that someone tells her that becoming a Jew requires more than just sporting some new bling. From Gawker,

“Britney Spears is a woman who is dedicated to her man/agent. So dedicated that she’s converting to Judaism to show Jason Trawick how much she loves him. She’s been wearing a star of David around her neck and has enlisted a rabbi to tour with her to teach her the religion.”

I am all for supporting your man. And I’m even all for changing your religion if you want to practice the same religion as your man. But I must preface this latter with saying that it’s probably only required if you’re going to get married or have children with the man. And you want those children to be raised in the same religion as well. But, these two have only been dating since the beginning of the year. I think they started going out in March but even if it was earlier than that, they’ve still haven’t been together for more than a year. I don’t think that within the first year is the best time to make major life-changing decisions on someone else’s belief system. I just think that this is a very dramatic move that Britney is making thinking that she’s supporting her man. When in fact, it’s just Britney being blinded by lust once again. If they break up, is she going to remain a Jew? And what about her children? Are they going to become Jews as well?

I don’t know if this latest move of Britney’s is going to work out or not but, I really think it will fall flat. Hopefully, the rabbi will clue her into the fact that becoming a Jew is a serious thing and that maybe, there are better reaasons for it than just your short-term boyfriend already being one.

Britney and Her Man Trade Hair Color

Uh oh. Remember the last time we saw Britney dye her hair so that she could stay true to her brunette roots? Yep, that’s right. It was right before she went cuckoo crazy. Once she got back on the road to good health, she dyed her extensions back to the normal blonde that we’re all used to seeing and I think many of us took this as meaning that she really was getting back to good. But now she’s gone and done it again! Britney has dyed her hair back to brown and her boyfriend Jason Trawick, who I’ve mentioned before has as many different looks as Brit herself, has taken on her blonde color.

The two were seen out doing some shopping at Bed, Bath, & Beyond while Britney performed some spur-of-the-moment dance moves in the parking lot and boyfriend/agent watched with a big, sloppy smile on his face. I guess she’s pretty excited about those new sheets and towels. Remember the last time Britney became personally involved with someone who was involved in the business of Britney Spears? Yep, that’s right. That wonderful person was Sam Lufti, who was Britney’s manager and also acted as her only friend during her period of cuckoo craziness. Never mind the fact that he was mostly to blame for a lot of it. And I’m not saying that Jason is going to turn out to be another Sam. But there are a lot of disturbing similarities here.

So what do you think about the hair? I personally always prefer Britney as a blonde, regardless of her mental state at the time. I just think it looks better on her. But I don’t think Britney looks like a piece of trash either. I think she’s looking like a normal girl enjoying a nice day with her boyfriend. It’s nice to see her so happy. Britney’s Granted a Restraining Order and Death Threats

Britney Spears has gotten somewhat of a break, if you consider getting a more permanent restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, any kind of a victory in this whole mess that she’s found herself in. A temporary restraining order was placed against Ghalib at the beginning of the year, when he took part in trying to worm his way back into her life with the help of the devil incarnate, Sam Lufti and some lawyer, who I’m sure works out of the back of a van somewhere. Now that restraining order has been made a little more permanent, in Adnan’s case anyway. From Digital Spy,

“Britney Spears’s paparazzo ex-boyfriend has reportedly been ordered to stay away from her for the next three years.

According to Us Weekly, a Los Angeles judge has ruled that a restraining order placed on Adnan Ghalib should remain permanent until 2012.

Neither Spears nor Ghalib, who reportedly had no legal representation in the case, were present at the hearing this morning.

A temporary restraining order against the star’s former manager Sam Lutfi was extended until April 1, when the judge will hear from witnesses.

Spears split with the Birmingham-born photographer last March. He is reported to be facing deportation after being handed three assault charges stemming from an alleged hit and run incident last month.”

And though one battle may have been won, Britney has another facing her - she’s apparently been receiving death threats while on tour. I would imagine that this happens to stars quite frequently, especially when obsessed and crazy people know exactly where you’re going to be and at what time, and such. I mean, it’s the whole reason for bodyguards. But there’s got to be a point when you have to just say it’s not worth it and take yourself out of a dangerous situation. It sounds as though that’s what should be done here but people from Britney’s side are saying that things are ‘going great.’ Also from Digital Spy,

“A source reportedly told Look that the singer had been targeted by a potentially dangerous stalker.

The insider said: “Britney received some anonymous death threats over the phone and in the mail, and her worst fear is a kidnap plot against Sean or Jayden.

“She’s been having terrible nightmares ever since then and she wakes up in the middle of the night crying out for her boys.

“She told her head of security and he thinks it’s a lone stalker. Her paranoia has reached fever pitch and she’s wracked with fear.”

However, a spokeswoman for Spears said that the tour is “going great” and there will be “no changes to planning in any way at all”, Metro reports.”

So isn’t common sense to get Britney off tour and out of the situation if things are that bad? I’m not saying I 100% believe this story - it’s an unnamed source from two sources that I’ve never heard of so, who knows. But, if Britney is really having this much trouble with the threats and is scared for her kids, you’ve got to get the hell out of Dodge. It’s just not worth it. This is a woman who has a history of mental illness and I don’t think that having her life a live that’s filled with nightmares and being terrified at every turn is healthy for anyone, let alone someone who’s in a somewhat delicate state and trying to make a comeback. Let’s hope all is really going very well on the “Circus” tour for Brit and that she’s not really living in fear because, that’s really no kind of life at all.

Spears’ New Man

All seems to have been going pretty well in the life of Ms. Britney Spears lately, minus the necessary restraining orders and working to get time with her kids, all while trying to put on a tour that seems somewhat doomed from the start. But someone from Britney’s camp was just saying not too long ago that the only thing that she’s missing is someone to share it all with. It seems that that may no longer be the case as Britney has hooked up with her talent agent, Jason Trawick. It also seems that these two have at least been thinking about hooking up for a long time, if they haven’t been official for that long, as Pop Crunch rumors that the two were linked together back in May. “Britney Spears is dating her long-time talent agent, Jason Trawick.

According to E!, the 27-year-old pop tart has been spotted on a string of dates with the 37-year-old, who has represented her for about five years.

Britney and Jason first sparked romance rumors after he accompanied her on a family vacation to Costa Rica last May. In December, the two were photographed together at the singer’s birthday party in Los Angeles.”

What is it about Britney Spears that seems to attract the most creepy-looking guys I could imagine? I know that this is a bad angle of the guy, and from the looks of Brit, probably a bad photograph altogether but Sam Lufti was no looker and while Adnan Ghalib did okay in the looks department, he turned out to be a complete wacko too. It’s no wonder the girl has gone mad, look at the people she surrounds herself with! Hopefully this Jason boy will turn out to be  a little saner than those others and I’m even more hopeful that we’ll see a good picture of him because this one weirds me out.

Sam Lufti Just Won’t Stop

Something weird happened to me this morning. I woke up, looked out the window and there was snow on the ground. Then I went to my computer, opened my browser and the first headline staring me in the face said something along the lines of ‘Sam Lufti is Trying to Ruin Britney’s Life.’ Just about the time I started wondering if they had gotten her out of the bathroom yet with her son, I looked down at my computer clock and realized that the date was actually 2009 - not 2008! Huh, coulda fooled me. Here we are, one year later and Sam Lufti is still trying to get something from Britney. Honestly, I guess this shows that some mistakes just take a very, very long time to go away. This time what does Sam want? His good name back! And he’s ready to sue to do it! From the Daily Blabber,

“Sam Lufti has filed a lawsuit against Britney Spears and her parents for libel and defamation. This comes just days after Jamie Spears got a restraining order against creepy Sam and Brit’s ex Adnan Ghalib.

Sam’s legal papers say all the stuff that the Spears family is saying about him is crap, and that he actually urged Britney to reconcile with her folks.

“Jamie and Lynne launched a campaign of lies and intimidation designed to destroy Lutfi and drive him out of Britney’s life,” the papers read. “This campaign also provided Jamie with the opportunity he needed to obtain an appointment as Britney’s conservator.”

He’s also claiming that Lynne Spears’ memoir, Through the Storm, is filled with “false statements,” and that it’s impacting his current career.

“Since the publication of the book, Lutfi has been subjected to unfathomable amounts of ridicule and scorn,” and has received “numerous death threats from overzealous fans,” the lawsuit reads, adding that Sam can “no longer find work as a counselor of at-risk teens.”

BAHAHA! The idea of Sam Lufti being any kind of a role model to anybody is just so laughable. He should be tied up in the courts until he’s retired because they’re trying to keep him away from teens, or anybody else! And people who already have deep-rooted issues? Why, because he’s proven himself to be so effective in those situations before? This is clearly tit for tat. Britney made him mad by not falling all over herself doing what he wanted her to do with that bogus legal document saying he still wanted to help her get her kids back and now, he’s doing the only thing that people around Britney know how to do - go for her money. I seriously doubt that he’s going to win his case. One, because just about everybody knows the kind of person that Sam is now and two,because it’s just not a strong case. I’m sure that those 4 people who read Lynne Spears’ piece of trash had nothing to do with the downfall of Sam Lufti’s career.

Britney’s Ongoing Hell

I can’t imagine what it must be like to be Britney Spears. This is a girl who has been in the spotlight her entire life and having made money from that spotlight, has been surrounded by people that want something from her. Imagine what it must be like to separate those who only want to use you for your money and fame from those who only want you to be happy. In Britney’s case, I don’t know that there’s too many people standing on the latter side of that equation.

There was recently a new restraining order slapped on Sam Lufti, the infamous ex-manager of Spears who reportedly drugged her and tried to take complete control of her life. This restraining order was requested by Jamie Spears, Britney’s dad and is the second order that has been out on Lufti, after one had expired in July. And then we have Adnan Ghalib, Britney’s ex-boytoy that she spent a brief time with during her crazy period. There was never a restraining order on him but now, it seems as though Lufti and Ghalib are trying to screw up the conservatorship arrangement that Jamie Spears now has. This is a document that has recently been released, written by Jon Eardley, lawyer for both Lufti and Ghalib. Oh yeah, and he’s right in the restraining order along with the other two scumbags. This document from The Evil Beet,

“You may not be aware of the fact that your civil rights were violated.

I have developed a legal strategy for you that I am confident will turn everything around, and ultimately garner you full custody of your children within approximately 30 to 60 days.

They will not be happy until they have denied you your freedom and milked you for your last dime. The custody case, as you know, is nothing more than a flat out extortion scheme, with your children being used as pawns.

Your case will continue to spiral until they have denied you your freedom, your children and your assets.

All I want is to see you win. I do not want anything in return and am willing to volunteer my time with you to see to it that you are successful in this custody case. I am not interested in publicity, money, or anything other than seeing you obtain full custody of your children.

Please recognize that aside from some anxiety and depression, which are totally normal under these circumstances, there is nothing wrong with you, but that the court system routinely engages in character assassination to conceal its internal bias and to break you down.

What they ultimately want is to get you into a conservatorship; at that point, your freedom will be denied, giving them the full opportunity to steal all of your money and to deny you any access to your children.”

Not only can I not imagine people only wanting to be around you because of the dollar signs that you represent to them but it’s unfathomable to me that someone would use her kids to get to her like that. Britney is in a position right now where she would do just about anything to get her kids back and although clearly, she was smart enough to see through this and do something about it, someone with a weaker state of mind may not have. It’s weird what people will do when they’re grasping at straws.

In good Britney news, it seems as though she may be getting more time with her kids anyway - sans the help of the aforementioned scum buckets. She and Federline have arranged for the boys to stay in one of three cities while she tours and she will commute every night after concert so that she can wake up and spend the day with her boys. Apparently, Britney and Kevin actually came to this agreement on their own and like the adults they actually are but now Kevin’s lawyers are angry that they weren’t involved. Again, people wanting control over Britney’s life when it’s not necessary!! Anway, good on ya, Brit! I hope you see those boys every day of your tour!

Can you picture it…Britney Brand?

Well it didn’t take long after the VMAs last week for us to start talking about who was avoiding who, who came with who, and who got together with who while there. So the prime target for rumors this year was, as it is every other year, Britney Spears. This year she’s fueling fires that she picked up more than just her three awards this year and that the fourth award was Russell Brand, who was a stand-up comedian that made his way to radio and also hosted the VMAs this year. It’s said that the two were seen getting cozy at the show (by this, I think he was seen talking to her) and they then were spotted at a romantic candlelit dinner for just the two of them. “It appears that Britney Spears went on a date with the show’s host, Russell Brand. Well, he is single again these days. So it was practically inevitable, wasn’t it?

“The pair are said to have enjoyed an intimate dinner last night at Hollywood’s Little Red Door restaurant, where they arrived and left separately in an apparent effort to avoid being photographed together,” reports the Daily Mail.”

I actually don’t know too much about Brand to comment if I would like to see them together. I did see a bit of his hosting performance at the VMAs and he was pretty funny. I do also like the way he stood up to Jordin Sparks at the show, denouncing her judgemental statements, while appearing charming of course. Maybe that’s just what Britney needs - someone who doesn’t take crap but doesn’t come off as offensive about it. Not as mean as Sam Lufti, not as wishy washy as Justin Timberlake.
