Michael Lohan Will Do Anything for Publicity

So we all know Michael Lohan is a douche, right? He’s a douche to his kid, Lindsay, he’s a douche to his ex-wife, Dina, and he’s a douche to just about everyone in his life. The only people, in fact, that Michael Lohan is not a douche to, are the media. He truly will do anything to get the spotlight back on him and this latest violation in a restraining order makes me wonder if it wasn’t just a case of Mikey-boy getting an itch for headline. So, we’ll throw him a bone.

What’s most interesting about this story isn’t actually that Michael Lohan, a.k.a. The Douche, broke the restraining order that his ex-girlfriend, Erin Muller, had in place against him. The fact that he made a phone call to her at work only told me that this wasn’t a physical threat or attempt to actually speak to her at all, but was in fact just a cry for attention. What interested me was the fact that during the course of the story, I found out that Michael is dating Kate Major, who was also linked to The Douche II, Jon Gosselin, previously. And I also think Kate was probably going to be a part of that weird divorced mens’ club group that Jon and Michael were planning on starting together. But I couldn’t swear on that one. Here are the details about the restriction violation, and Kate’s role in it all, from Radar Online,

“Michael Lohan has been arrested again following another alleged run-in with his ex-girlfriend Erin Muller.

Despite Lohan’s many protests that he is “moving on” with his life and is over Muller, even going so far as to plan a move in with new girlfriend Kate Major, he has allegedly been trying to make contact with Muller, calling her at her work last Thursday – a direct violation of the restraining order Muller has against him.

Lohan was arrested by Nassau County Police Thursday and booked for criminal contempt. He is due in court February 25th.

Joan Eames, Public Information officer at Nassau County Police Department confirmed Lohan’s arrest. Going on to say he was arrested for, “Criminal contempt of his Order of Protection.”

RadarOnline.com contacted Lohan who completely denies contacting, or attempting to contact Muller. And goes on to state that his ex-girlfriend has her very own upcoming arrest pending.

Lohan tells RadarOnline.com “Erin lied and pressed charges. She is being arrested again in NY City and Nassau County 2nd Precinct.”

“Erin said I called her but she lied because she heard I was in Costa Rica instead. I have proof and she doesn’t.”

Going on to claim, “Her lawyer asked for money to drop the charges. How is it that I have proof and she doesn’t?”

Michael Lohan is just so damned whiny it drives me crazy! And how creepy are these people? Kate Major couldn’t make headlines with Jon and so now, having abandoned her job and most likely her life, she’s shackin up with the creepiest man in the world? What exactly, are we supposed to think about her? And as for Erin Muller’s part in all of this, I don’t blame her. If any one of these people came anywhere close to me, I’d immediately get a restraining order on all of them.

Were Lindsay and Heath Dating when He Died?

I can’t believe that Michael Lohan would stoop so low. Okay, I can. No I can’t. I can’t believe that anyone would drag someone who has passed away into one of many family fights. By now we all know that Michael Lohan is being his usual douche bag self and selling any taped conversations that he and his daughter, Lindsay Lohan, had to everyone and anyone who will take them. This is bad enough. Really, who the hell tapes conversations that they have with their kid? But he’s taken it to a whole new level now by dragging Heath Ledger into it. Does he have no idea what the word ‘respect’ means?! Okay, forget I said that.

Radar Online now has a taped conversation in which Dina Lohan, Lindsay’s mom tells Michael that Lilo was dating Heath Ledger when he died, even though that relationship was secret. And according to the tapes, Lindsay was pretty messed up when he died. Well, yeah. Hell, I was pretty messed up when Heath Ledger passed away! I think everyone was! The point is, I don’t understand why this matters, or how Michael Lohan thinks that leaking the tapes is going to help his daughter. Mind you, Radar Online hasn’t stated whether Michael gave them the tapes or not but, come on. I think we all know how those tapes fell onto the Radar website. From US,

“At the time of his untimely death in January 2008, actor Heath Ledger was romantically involved — in secret — with Lindsay Lohan. So says her mother, Dina, in an undated, recorded phone conversation with Michael Lohan, her ex-husband and Lindsay’s father.
In a newly revealed recording at Radar, Dina tells Michael that their eldest daughter “was dating Heath when he died . . . I don’t know if you know that, but I know cause I would drop her off and they were friends, very, very close.”

And Ledger’s death devastated the actress, now 23. “That f***ed her up,” her mother says.

Ledger died at age 28 on January 22, 2008 from an accidental, toxic combination of prescription drugs; he had recently separated from girlfriend, actress Michelle Williams, mother of their daughter Matilda, now 4.
Understandably, the presence of the self-destructive Brokeback Mountain actor made Dina Lohan nervous for her own child’s fate.

“When she’s drunk or takes an Adderall with it she will do something like Heath Ledger did in a second without thinking,” she tells her ex-husband on the tape.

She also expresses concerns about Lindsay’s then-relationship with Samantha Ronson, and wonders if her daughter has the wherewithal to walk away. “It’s very easy for a rational person to say. But for an irrational person who has a problem with her DNA and alcohol and Adderall and asthma and every other things she’s got wrong with her.”
For her part, Lindsay Lohan has recently criticized her father for leaking other tapes of private phone conversations. “He’s disgusting to do this,” she wrote on Twitter. “It really hurts my mom for me and my siblings.”

My question is this – why does this matter? I would certainly be able to see Lindsay dating Heath. They both liked to party, they both liked to hang around the same people (the fellow partiers of Hollywood), and they were both actors, both around the same age. But I really fail to see how bringing this to light now is going to help Michael reunite with his daughter, or what it even matters. I’m sure that Lindsay was incredibly messed up over Heath’s death, whether they were dating or not. She’s just a messed up kind of girl. But she is right about one thing. Her dad is disgusting to do this.

Michael Lohan Should Take Lessons from Jamie Spears

I hate to lump Michael Lohan’s name in with Jamie Spears when it comes to celebrity dads but sadly, when people hear the word ‘conservatorship’, they automatically think of Britney Spears and the legal hold that her dad still has over her. Unfortunately for Michael Lohan, that was a case of a father actually seeing that his daughter was in trouble and wanting to help her. It’s unfortunate for the ultimate schmuck of dads because Michael is now seeking to gain the same type of conservatorship over his daughter Lindsay. Of course, this enraged Lindsay and she went straight to Twitter to state her case. From Gossip Center,

“Having spent the Halloween holiday in Morocco, Lindsay Lohan made sure to fit in a little time to lash out at her dad, Michael Lohan, via her Twitter account.

The “Mean Girls” actress made her comments after reports surfaced claiming that her attention-loving dad was trying to gain conservatorship over her affairs and is shopping around personal taped family conversations.

Of the situation, LiLo tells, “My father is a lunatic & doesn’t even deserve such a title since he’s never been around in my life other than when he’d threaten me & my family. He should be where he has always put himself after verbally abusing and physically abusing people all my life-behind bars.”

Continuing on, Miss Lohan adds, “It’s so sad to get a phone call from my baby sister just now asking, ‘why is daddy doing this?’ Through tears. He’s crossed the lines & hurt me & my family 4 the last time.”

I have to say, Lindsay Lohan was once headed for trouble and now she’s knee-deep in it. I definitely do think that someone needs to step in at this point to try and help the girl out but I am also quite positive that person should not be Michael Lohan. If this is true, it would be the ultimate slap in the face to her, if any court were crazy enough to grant it, which is a whole other story in itself.

Michael and Lindsay Both have Such a Way With Words

The Lohans are quite a bunch, aren’t they? Lindsay keeps publicly telling her dad, Michael to shut the hell up and Michael keeps publicly talking about, well, anything really. This time Michael has gone to the Maury Povich Show to talk about how his dear daughter has whittled herself down to almost nothing and Lindsay has retaliated by once again telling her dad to shut it. I rarely pay attention to these two anymore. They’ve gotten as predictable and boring as Lindsay and Sam. But what struck me about this particular interview is just what a horrible way with words Michael has. And when Lindsay’s asked about his comments, she proves that she’s no suave smoothy either. “On Friday’s Maury Povich Show, Michael Lohan reaches out to his daughter Lindsay, of whom he claims her health is deteriorating rapidly due to prescription drug abuse.

“There’s nothing left of her,” he said. “I was out in L.A. with her about three weeks ago when she got robbed. She called me up at 3:30 a.m. and said, ‘Daddy, come out here.’ I flew out and couldn’t even look at her. I had to go outside and cry. When I hugged her, it’s just a hollow, hollow person.

Asked what he wants to tell his daughter, Michael (with tears in his eyes) looked into the camera and said: “Lindsay, I love you with all my heart and … I am not going to bury you. You’re going to bury me before this is over. I will do anything and everything I have to to save your life. Whether mom likes it, or the public likes it or anyone, I am going to take all the steps I can to help you because I want you to have your life back. You’re not in the right state of mind. You’re my daughter, honey, and I can do this anymore.”

On Thursday, Usmagazine.com caught up with Lindsay, who said: “Everything is good. I am in a really good place. I’ve been working a lot. I literally slept the entire day yesterday. I woke up, and it was like 10 o’clock at night. I was like, ‘I have stuff to do!’”

Asked about her father’s concerns, Lindsay told Us: “I just wish he would shut up.”

Okay, I have to admit, that second paragraph of Michael’s is really kind of touching and filled with everything that fathers should say about their daughters. But, just because you’re skinny (even if it’s frighteningly skinny), doesn’t mean that you’re a hollow person. Saying that someone is a hollow person suggests that there’s nothing to them in any kind of caring or sensitive sense whatsoever. Also, why he is getting so bent out of shape just now about Lindsay’s drug use, prescription or otherwise, is beyond me. Lindsay has been on a downward spiral for several years now. And if I can see it, I know damn well that her dad can see it. This just screams publicity stunt to me, which of course is nothing new for Michael Lohan.

And although what Lindsay said isn’t actually all that bad or stupid, I hope she realizes that there are few things you can do when you wake up at 10:00pm unless it’s partying and drinking. Which I guess it what started all the problems in the first place.

More on Sam, Michael, and Lindsay

I really don’t know who isn’t sick to death just yet of the whole Samantha Ronson/Lindsay Lohan/Michael Lohan ordeal but I’m getting tired of all the media whores that are constantly cropping up on the scene and these are 3 people that just won’t quit. Lindsay recently blogged about just finding out that her daddy is also someone else’s daddy and she never knew that before. Why something like this is being taken to a blog when Lindsay has said in the past that she wants people out of her personal life, I’m not too sure. Samantha, Lindsay’s girlfriend then gets dragged into it when Michael, Lindsay’s dad, accuses Sam of writing the post and not really his daughter. Of course, Sam can’t let that rest and is now denying any such accusation. Seriously?!? Who has time for these stupid tantrums and making sure that the last word is always yours? From Celebrity Dirty Laundry,

“Michael fired back, admitting he believed there was a “99 per cent chance” the posting was actually written by Ronson. But the Sam has laughed off the claim, insisting it was indeed written by Lindsay. She tells New York gossip column PageSix.com, “Ha! That’s funny, but I don’t ghost-write MySpace blogs. Good thing he left that one per cent window open so he wasn’t 100 per cent wrong for once.”

I had many doubts that Sam was behind anything written on Lindsay’s blog but Michael also didn’t stop there. He then starts talking about the truce that he and his daughter have - which I also find extremely difficult to believe seeing as how Lindsay has made it quite clear that she wants absolutely nothing to do with him. “There is a truce between Lindsay and I, so please stop adding any fuel to the fire,” he blogged on his new official site, MikeLohanOnline.com, Monday.
“I respectfully ask that all sources, so called friends and mouthpieces refrain from any more comments or suggestions on her blog,” he wrote.”

I love how he asks people to stop talking on her blog, since that’s exactly what blogs are for and really, he’s the one who’s always added fuel to the fire and if he wants the sparks to die down some, he may want to shut his trap and try fading into the background for a little while. And I used to be on Linday’s side in all of this but it seems to me that she could also use a lesson in keeping certain things to herself.

The Lohans in the News Again!

I’m really getting sick of all of the Lohans being in the news whether it’s Michael talking about how screwed up his daughter is or Dina on her stupid reality TV show. I even really like Lindsay but even the news surrounding her has become boring and tired and I’m just sick of hearing about it. Well, of course her dad isn’t as he is now going to let someone - anyone - beat him up for the right price. Yes, you heard correctly. Michael Lohan is once again proving that he will do anything to get his name in the papers and this time he has sunken so low that he is willing to get the crap beat out of him. “Michael Lohan is auctioning the chance to beat him up. Yes, he is offering one lucky bidder the chance to step into the ring with him in a charity boxing match, scheduled for November 24 in New York. After the nastiness with his daughter Sam maybe Sam will challenge him LOL.
Jeff Cohen, who is setting up the match, said
“Anybody who jumps into the ring with Michael Lohan will become famous. Maybe you’ll get one of Lindsay Lohan’s ex-boyfriends who will try and impress her by beating up her father. “Who knows? You might get Samantha Ronson trying to put a bid in there.”
Michael himself has a dream sparring partner in mind, saying: “Out of all the people on this planet, if there is one person, who I would really love to get the ring with me, it would be Perez Hilton.”

This is just the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Why does Michael think that he’s some huge superstar when really we all know that he is just one more parent trying to exploit his daughter until it makes him as much money as possible. Charity my butt! The only charity this man is interested in is the kind that is doled out to him!

Meanwhile, Lindsay has more drama surrounding her life as well as she’s about to head into court to support her girlfriend, Samantha Ronson, who has a suit against her former lawyer who misrepresented her in her case against Perez Hilton. Lindsay is scared that some not-so-pretty truths about her will come out in a video deposition and she is begging the courts to not have it put on video because of the havoc it would wreak should the video leak out…which we all know it would if it were made. “According to papers obtained by TMZ.com, the actress filed a motion in Los Angeles on Wednesday (8Oct08) protesting a videotaped deposition, because she fears Garbus will question her “about the details of the drugs allegedly found in the car and of her alleged romantic relationship with Ronson.”
The paperwork adds that Lohan is concerned the tape will be leaked online and cause her “unwarranted annoyance, embarrassment, oppression, undue burden and expense.”
She is also requesting a private location for the deposition, that there are minimal witnesses present and that any transcript of her words is kept secure.”

I can actually understand Lindsay’s fear and think that it’s perfectly reasonable that none of it is put onto video. I understand that celebrities should be treated like anybody else but I think this is a case where she makes a good point and I think the courts should grant it to her. But if Sam really hates Perez Hilton enough to take him to court, you would think that Michael would like him a little bit more.

Lindsay Doesn’t Attend Grandfather’s Funeral

Okay, so I don’t understand why everyone is so all over Lindsay Lohan about not attending her grandfather’s wake. The announement that he had passed away came almost mere moments after the latest very public battle with her father and he mentioned in one of his press releases that he expected everyone to be in attendance at the wake. So instead of going and making a bad situation worse, Lindsay instead went shopping with her girlfriend, Samantha in New York. And I don’t know what the big deal is!! From eCanada,

Lindsay Lohan’s relationship with her dad is going downhill fast.

It was reported that Lindsay Lohan spent time with Ronson in New York City shopping.

This is being seen as a real low move by Lindsay Lohan, showing the big problems that exist in the family.”

Yes, big problems exist in the family but I don’t think that Lindsay going to the funeral would have changed that. Michael Lohan is doing what he always does except this time it’s in one of the most abhorrent of ways. He is trying to control Lindsay yet again and this funeral gave him the perfect chance to corner her into a one-on-one confrontation. She has made it extremely clear that he will not be included in her life so why would she purposely go somewhere that she’ll know he’ll be?

Is that really the respectful funeral everyone had in mind? Instead of celebrating the life of the deceased and paying final respects, it becomes a show-down between Michael and Lindsay? Because everyone knows that’s what it would have turned into. There’s no rule that says that you need to be in a funeral home to remember those you love, talk to them, and say goodbye. I think Lindsay did the absolute right thing and people need to start giving this girl a break!

Michael Lohan Won’t Shut Up!

Just as everyone predicted, Michael Lohan has come back to the media after his daughter Lindsay accused him of being out of control and a media hog. This is especially interesting to me because from the reports that I read, it was Samantha Ronson that talked the most trash about Mr. Lohan and while Lindsay posted some harsh words of her own, she allowed her girlfriend to have most of the joy. It just seems even weirder to me because you would think that the person you lash back out against is the person that said the worst but, I guess that wouldn’t get enough media attention. As usual, what he says makes absolutely no sense as it is reported by The Pop Crunch Show,

“Michael told ABC News late Thursday: “She’s (Lohan) gone from making $7 million to less than a million a movie.

“Who’s out of control? I go to church. I go and help people in rehab. That’s control. How can she say I’m out of control?”

He adds, “I want Lindsay to be in a good place. When I started looking at what Samantha was doing, dragging Lindsay to clubs, drinking around Lindsay… Samantha is one of the biggest problems in her life.”

“That’s what Dina told me. I’m reacting on what Dina said, but then Dina steps out of the picture because she wants to look like the good guy.”

“Dina’s a two-face. She wants to try to look good and stay on Lindsay’s good side instead of being a good parent. I don’t give two hoots about my relationship with Lindsay as a friend. One day she’s going to turn around to me and tell me, ‘Daddy, you were right’.”

Michael, several things are wrong with this.

1.) I’m fairly certain Lindsay will not come back and say that you’re right.

2.) Although you may not care about your friendship with your daughter, you should care about your relationship with her as your daughter - which you don’t. Trust, loyalty, a sense of being there for each other are all elements of friendship but you must have them in a parental role as well.

3.) If you’re so insistent on making us all think that you don’t see dollar signs when you look at Lindsay, stop telling us all what she makes!! And then act disgusted by it!!

4.) Going to church and helping people in rehab are both good things. Neither means that you have control or that you’re a good father.

5.) It was once Samantha entered the picture that the bar and public drunk scenes were taken out of it.

I would think that someone who was so ripe on getting the media involved would prepare something to say that made a little more sense and was a little more mature.

Don’t Mess with Lindsay and Sam!

Michael Lohan should know better by now to not run to the media with gripes about his daughter - especially when it involves her girlfriend, Samantha Ronson.These two are an extremely strong force when together and Lindsay’s dad - of all people! - should realize that they will not simply lie down and let you walk all over them. Of course, because it’s Michael Lohan that we’re talking about, I’m sure he’s foreseen this media war and the prospect has overjoyed him. He recently lashed out at the two, specifically Samantha and she stays on course by attacking him through her blog. Here is what Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported her blog had to say,

“I really don’t want to say anything because I feel like he wins. ‘He’ being the man who is so desperate for attention that he goes to the media whenever possible. I know I am being used, I am just a pawn - easy to sacrifice to feed his addiction. I am not standing in his way - I am not the reason he has no contact with his daughter - he is. His need to throw a tantrum for the whole world to hear is.”

Lindsay also wrote on her own blog saying that her dad was “out of control” and she also clearly indicated that he is not in her life because she chooses it to be that way. In other Lohan news, Lindsay’s grandfather passed away today and Michael has seized it as yet another opportunity to launch attack on his former family. Instead of saying how much the man will be missed and that he will forever live on in their hearts, this is what Celebrity Rights quoted Michael as saying,

“My father just, literally, died in my arms. I notified all my kids and my lawyer notified Dina’s attorney. Let’s see if she has the decency and respect to bring my kids to the wake and funeral. THIS will show her true colors!

“Thus, not even a call. But that’s par for the course with Dina! She didn’t even send a card or visit when he was sick.”

It’s pretty clear what Michael’s intentions are and whether you like Lindsay or you hate her, one can’t help but feel sorry for her for having such a horrible father. It’s always too bad when the parents get more caught up in the fame-hype than the children but this seems to be a case of the extreme.

More of Lilo’s Messed Up Family

Well, while Lindsay Lohan’s mom, Dina Lohan has seemed to be trying to make peace with her daughter by making gestures such as welcoming Lindsay’s girlfriend, Samantha Ronson into the family publicly, Lindsay’s father is taking another tactic when publicly speaking about his daughter’s relationship. The Evil Beet quotes him as saying,

“I’m not happy,” he says. “Ever since [Lindsay] got out of rehab and all these people came back into her life, things haven’t been right … People like Samantha Ronson don’t need to be around Lindsay. She shouldn’t be dragging Lindsay around nightclubs. Who was Samantha Ronson before Lindsay Lohan? She was nobody. She is using her for her own gain. All these people have inserted themselves into her life like parasites, and it’s not right. I’m done with them.”

Okay, there are a few things wrong with his statement. The first is that two of the people who have used Lindsay’s fame to their own advantage more than anyone are her parents and mostly it has been her father. The second point I’d like to make is that Samantha Ronson has been amazing for Lindsay and not only has Lindsay stayed out of the papers except for a few pics of her filming a movie and this whole “is she or isn’t she gay?” thing, her life has been fairly boring, in comparison of what it was not so long ago. The third very wrong thing about Michael Lohan opening his mouth and showing everyone once again how stupid he is, is the fact that he made this statement just after announcing his engagement. What’s wrong with a divorced man getting engaged? Nothing - except that his fiance, Erin Muller, is 24 years old. That’s a short two years older than his daughter. You know - the one who’s making all the bad choices.
