Is Mary-Kate Pregnant?

They may have once been cute but the Olsen twins these days are generally known for stirring up trouble. This time the attention is turned to Mary-Kate and she’s not in trouble…per se…but I suppose it’s all in how you view it. Celebrity Dirty Laundry has recently received a ‘hot tip’ that she may finally have something in her belly….a baby! This is what the website has to say about their tip,

“Last Friday, Mary-Kate Olsen, 20, linked to Heath Ledger at his death, was spotted with a female friend visiting the chic baby boutique Petit Tresor in West Hollywood. Her friend was teasing her about her belly and they spent more than forty five minutes browsing nursery furniture and Mary-Kate purchased burp cloths, bibs and t-shirts from Plain Mary emblazoned with the word “Babe” as well as a playmat and changing pad. In addition, she picked up a few layette items from.
If pregnant, the obvious father would probably be boyfriend Lapo Elkann, 31, known in the media as an Italian playboy, and the heir to the Fiat empire.”

I’m giving this one a big N-O. This story is simply not true. There aren’t even any credited sources, or even anonymous ones, she was simply ’spotted’ there. And I’m even doubting that as this baby boutique is notorious for spreading false stories about many different celebrities buying their baby clothes there, including Katie Holmes, Britney Spears, Jessica Alba, and Lisa Marie Presley. Add to that the fact that I’m sure that Mary-Kate Olsen is careful, careful when she’s gallavanting around town just so this exact thing doesn’t happen - I just don’t see her as the mothering type. So we shall move on but really, Mary-Kate, you should put some food in there.

Lisa Marie Welcomes Twins!

Well ya gotta hand it to celebs that don’t use their pregnancy as their next publicity stunt, such as Lisa Marie Presley, who only announced at the beginning of August that she was expecting and just a short two months later, she has now given birth to beautiful, healthy twin girls! From Celebrity Baby Scoop,

“According to Star Magazine, Lisa Marie Presley and husband Michael Lockwood welcomed twin girls today at the Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, California.

Lisa Marie’s two older children, Riley, 21, and Ben, 16, from her first marriage to Danny Keough, were also present for the twins’ arrival.

“Lisa Marie is mom to four now! She’s feeling good, a little tired too,” a friend of the family tells Star. “She is so happy and Michael is ecstatic. He’s wanted to be a dad for so long. This is his dream come true.”

The birth went along without a hitch. “There was no drama. The babies are healthy and beautiful. Ben was seen pushing them down the hall in their cart and cooing to them,” the friend says

No news on names or such yet and maybe not for awhile considering how long it took just to get the news that they were coming! Enjoy your new family, Lisa Marie and congratulations to both of you!

Lisa Marie Presley Announces she’s almost Due

Lisa Marie Presley has confirmed the announcement that was made last week stating that she is in fact, pregnant. It was reported last week in US Magazine but recently the magazine has updated itself to bring to us the confirmation. From US,

“Her mom Priscilla has confirmed it to Entertainment Tonight.

“She wanted it really to be kept a secret for a long time, you know, and I think women should, because they should be able to announce what they’re having and when it’s time to make the announcement,” Priscilla tells ET.

Turns out, Lisa Marie’s dad, Elvis, was a twin, and her mother, Priscilla, has younger brothers who are twins.

A source tells Us the singer, 40, and her husband, rocker Michael Lockwood, 47, will greet their babies in the fall.

A source close to Presley tells Us, “She’s never been so happy!”

Lisa Marie — who wed Lockwood in 2006 — has two children from a previous marriage to Danny Keough.”

Okay so I get that people - even celebrities - need time to bask in the news with just their close friends and family and that there’s also a precarious waiting period in the first three months but I’d love to know how Lisa Marie pulled this off. Not only is it difficult for any celebrity to keep a bump on the down-low but she is due very soon and the announcement is just being made! And she’s got twins in there so it’s not like she’ll be able to hide the double bump for all that long. Bravo, Lisa Marie! Maybe you should give lessons on how not to be a media hog to some other celebrities.

As an interesting side note, I had no idea that Elvis was a twin. Anyone know if his twin is identical? Could explain all those sightings.
