Britney Spears Fires Her Boyfriend

You would think that when you’ve fired your boyfriend, things are really on a slippery slope in your relationship. But it seems like just the opposite is true for Britney Spears and her boyfriend, Jason Trawick. Jason has been representing the pop star ever since 2006, which means that he also saw her through her crazy phase in 2008. The two have been dating for over a year now and it seems they think it’s time to get more serious about their relationship – which means giving Jason the boot so their professional relationship doesn’t get in the way of their personal one. “Britney Spears – who has been dating Jason Trawick since March 2009 – has decided to stop working professionally with her lover so they can focus on being a couple. A spokesperson for the pop star confirmed: “Britney and Jason have decided to end their professional relationship and focus on their personal relationship. “Since wrapping her recent world tour, Spears has been busy in the studio working on her next album.”

This move has quashed rumours the 28-year-old singer and Jason, 38, are on the verge of breaking up.”

I think it’s great that Britney’s so happy and I think the move of firing him just proves how sane she actually is. There’s nothing that will break two people up faster than working together. And if they really are getting that serious, then it’s probably a good move. There have been reports that the two have broken up, or are about to, but there have also been rumors that Jason has proposed to Britney many times. Could this latest move mean that she finally said yes? Who knows. But, she has been dating him for over a year. And for Britney, that’s a very, very long time!

Is Britney Becoming a Jew?

When Britney Spears decides to do something, she really goes all out, doesn’t she? If she wants to spend more time with her kids, she locks herself in a bathroom with one of them. If she wants to get a haircut, she shaves her entire head. Now, she’s started dating her agent, Jason Trawick, and to prove her love, she’s going to become a Jew - just like him.

I don’t think this is a good idea. Just from past experience, when she’s totally given herself to someone, it didn’t work out so well. She let Sam Lufti have complete control over her life. Now she’s under her father’s conservatorship for god knows how long. She totally ‘fell completely in love’ with Adnan Ghalib and then was shocked when he started cheating on her. Now she has a restraining order against him. So, this latest move of hers has a rabbi following her around on tour to teach her the new religion and she wears a Star of David around her neck to prove that she’s ready to become a Jew. I really hope that someone tells her that becoming a Jew requires more than just sporting some new bling. From Gawker,

“Britney Spears is a woman who is dedicated to her man/agent. So dedicated that she’s converting to Judaism to show Jason Trawick how much she loves him. She’s been wearing a star of David around her neck and has enlisted a rabbi to tour with her to teach her the religion.”

I am all for supporting your man. And I’m even all for changing your religion if you want to practice the same religion as your man. But I must preface this latter with saying that it’s probably only required if you’re going to get married or have children with the man. And you want those children to be raised in the same religion as well. But, these two have only been dating since the beginning of the year. I think they started going out in March but even if it was earlier than that, they’ve still haven’t been together for more than a year. I don’t think that within the first year is the best time to make major life-changing decisions on someone else’s belief system. I just think that this is a very dramatic move that Britney is making thinking that she’s supporting her man. When in fact, it’s just Britney being blinded by lust once again. If they break up, is she going to remain a Jew? And what about her children? Are they going to become Jews as well?

I don’t know if this latest move of Britney’s is going to work out or not but, I really think it will fall flat. Hopefully, the rabbi will clue her into the fact that becoming a Jew is a serious thing and that maybe, there are better reaasons for it than just your short-term boyfriend already being one.

Britney and Her Man Trade Hair Color

Uh oh. Remember the last time we saw Britney dye her hair so that she could stay true to her brunette roots? Yep, that’s right. It was right before she went cuckoo crazy. Once she got back on the road to good health, she dyed her extensions back to the normal blonde that we’re all used to seeing and I think many of us took this as meaning that she really was getting back to good. But now she’s gone and done it again! Britney has dyed her hair back to brown and her boyfriend Jason Trawick, who I’ve mentioned before has as many different looks as Brit herself, has taken on her blonde color.

The two were seen out doing some shopping at Bed, Bath, & Beyond while Britney performed some spur-of-the-moment dance moves in the parking lot and boyfriend/agent watched with a big, sloppy smile on his face. I guess she’s pretty excited about those new sheets and towels. Remember the last time Britney became personally involved with someone who was involved in the business of Britney Spears? Yep, that’s right. That wonderful person was Sam Lufti, who was Britney’s manager and also acted as her only friend during her period of cuckoo craziness. Never mind the fact that he was mostly to blame for a lot of it. And I’m not saying that Jason is going to turn out to be another Sam. But there are a lot of disturbing similarities here.

So what do you think about the hair? I personally always prefer Britney as a blonde, regardless of her mental state at the time. I just think it looks better on her. But I don’t think Britney looks like a piece of trash either. I think she’s looking like a normal girl enjoying a nice day with her boyfriend. It’s nice to see her so happy. Britney Continues to Confirm Jason Trawick as New BF

Well because they’ve been seeing each other for several months now and we’re just starting to see them out and about together, it seems that Britney Spears can no longer deny that she and her agent, Jason Trawick, are an item. The two were seen first getting cozy at a restaurant, then taking a leisurely stroll through London, and now Jason’s out running errands with Brit. There’s no doubt that these two have much more than just an agent/client relationship. There’s no ring on Britney’s finger yet so it seems those engagement rumors were just that but Jason may be being called in for some extra moral support as Britney has recently said that she’s devastated over the singer’s death and was looking forward to meeting up with him again in London while they were both on tour there. “Britney Spears was among the many stars mourning the loss of Michael Jackson, who died of cardiac arrest on Thursday afternoon (June 25).

“I was so excited to see his show in London,” the singer said in a statement. “We were going to be on tour in Europe at the same time and I was going to fly in to see him. He has been an inspiration throughout my entire life and I’m devastated he’s gone!”

In 2001, Britney duetted with Jackson onstage at his 30th anniversary concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden, where she strutted sexily around the stage during “The Way You Make Me Feel.”

Britney will no doubt include a tribute to Michael as part of her performance and Jason will no doubt be there to cheer her on! I really hope that Britney can make good with this relationship. With the past couple of years that she’s had, it would be really nice to see her just settle down with someone and just enjoy being happy with them. I wonder if she even remembers what that feels like.

Is Britney Engaged?

So because it’s been two days since the photos were taken of Britney Spears chillin with her kids and her agent/rumored new boyfriend, Jason Trawick, the newest rumor is that Britney and Jason are now engaged. Note that this relationship has not even been confirmed but Trawick has been hanging around Brit quite a bit lately and the two have been rumored to have been together since at least March. Now, could they be spending so much time together because she’s on tour and he’s her agent? Possibly. But the media really seems to have placed him in the role as Britney’s new man and I guess it’s just a waiting game to see if the shoe fits. In the meantime, I suppose we’ll just make up rumors that the two are engaged to be wed.

I know it’s not unlike Britney to just up and get married at the drop of a hat. But I really, really have my doubts on this one. I don’t think she’d get married after only seeing a guy for a few months (now that she’s better), and I really don’t think that she would get married while she’s in the middle of a tour. But according to Star, and an ‘inside source’, that’s exactly what’s happening. From Pop Crunch,

“Word is Britney Spears is engaged to marry new man Jason Tranwick — who just so happens to be the pop tart’s agent.

Star Magazine Jason popped the question to Brit while they were on vacation in the Bahamas last month.

“He didn’t exactly get down on one knee, but Brit didn’t care. She said yes, and they opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate,” says an insider. “Jason held Britney for a long time and kissed her cheeks. They talked about their future for hours and didn’t go to sleep until after 3 a.m.! They just wanted to be alone together.”

Nope, ya can’t trust those inside sources. This is one rumor that is sure to be proven as just that. We’ll wait until Brit’s camp officially denies it. Last we heard, she was denying that the two were even dating. Well, now that there are pics of them romping on a beach while vacationing together, that one will be hard to deny anyway.

Rumor Squashing: Britney is Still Single

Or at least that’s what we know so far. But she definitely is not, I repeat - not dating her talent agent, Jason Trawick. Nope the two are not an item. They are not together. There’s no coupledom here. Do you get the picture? Because that’s just about how this ‘inside source’ of Brit’s puts it to US. They only say it four or five different ways, so that you’d have to be an idiot to walk away from that article thinking that the two are still dating. So, was this really just a rumor de jour, or is this a case of when thou doth protest too much? From US,

“Forget the false reports: Britney Spears is not seeing her longtime agent Jason Trawick, a source close to Spears tells Usmagazine.com.

“They are absolutely, 100 percent not dating,” the source tells Us. “He is her agent, and that is it.”

E! News reported Wednesday that Spears was secretly stepping out with Trawick, but the insider tells Us, “They have never gone out on a date.

“He has been her agent for four years, and they are very close friends,” the source continues. “He gets on with her family, but there is absolutely categorically nothing romantic going on.

“Jason was on the road with Britney for three of her tour dates, but that is because that’s what agents do — they support their clients,” the source goes on. “Any stories of them being together are completely and utterly made up.”

I don’t really care if they’re dating or not but I don’t see what Britney or anyone from her camp has to gain by lying about this one. It’s clear that her and Jason may find that they have at least one thing in common. Do a quick Google search on Jason Trawick pics and you’ll quickly find that he has as many different looks as Brit herself.
