Bump Watch: Heidi Klum

Is it just me, or does it seem like Heidi Klum has been pregnant fooooorever? I really thought that she would beat Ellen Pompeo to the punch by being the first one to give birth. But, weeks after Ellen’s little one has entered the world, Heidi still looks amazing as she carries her little one in her belly. And she seems pretty content to keep it that way. My God, that woman is so graceful and elegant in everything she does! She’s recently said this about being preggers, from Daily Mail,

“Heidi Klum must be looking forward to the day she sees her feet again.
For several months now, the pregnant German model has been nurturing a bump which has grown to the size of a beach ball.
But it certainly hasn’t stopped the presenter of Project Catwalk from donning a stylish black lycra dress and showing off her fabulous figure.

The beauty looked radiant in a £99 black Isabella Oliver ruched tank dress, specially designed for mothers-to-be.

It appears Heidi, who is expecting her fourth child, a girl, in a matter of days, hasn’t added an extra pound of weight during her pregnancy.
The 36-year-old, who already has three children, Leni, five, Henry, three, and two-year-old Johan, admits she’s feeling great.
‘My mood is the same this time as with all the other pregnancies,’ she told America’s In Touch magazine. ‘I always feel great! I never really change.’”

It’s reported that Heidi Klum is having a baby girl and we can’t wait to see those first baby pics! In other Klum news, the supermodel has decided to take her husband, Seal’s, last name after four years of marriage. Why would Klum decide to do this now? Maybe she foresees herself dropping out of her professional world in the near future and doesn’t think that she will need the name ‘Klum’ behind her anymore. Maybe her kids have the same last name as her hubby and she wants to have the name too. Or maybe, it’s just another way that Heidi Klum and Seal are showing that they are a sticky-sweet couple and that their love keeps going strong!

Bump Watch: Ellen Pompeo

All summer long we’ve been watching Ellen Pompeo grow bigger and bigger with that ever-growing bundle in her tummy. We only have a few more glimpses of this pregnant actress though, she’s expected to deliver sometime early fall, which is very, very soon. I was very happy to come across this pic of Ellen. In every other picture I’ve seen her in, she’s draped in some sort of god-awful, one piece curtain that while I’m sure was comfy, didn’t do much for her. I’m all for comfort, especially during pregnancy, but it’s nice to see that Ellen has worked out a way to be pretty and comfy all at the same time.

Bump Watch: Ellen Pompeo

I suppose the Hollywood baby boom is over. I think the last 5 Bump Watch’s that I’ve done have been on Ellen Pompeo. There’s just no one getting preggers at the time being! But, alas, I suppose for now we can focus solely on Ellen. And while we’re doing that, I just have to ask a question. Why can the woman not find some nice maternity clothes to wear? All the other stars seem to find room in their multi-million dollar bank accounts to find nice designer maternity wear, what’s the problem with Ellen? And I’m not even saying it has to be designer. I’d actually prefer that it’s not. But that doesn’t mean that she has to keep showing up in these one-piece bodysuits that drape over her like a tight-fitting curtain. It’s just such bad taste for someone who has enough money to dress a little bit nicer.

Ellen is due in the fall so I guess we’ll be seeing her for a little while longer yet. Hopefully she has better clothes for when the weather turns a little cooler. Thanks to Celebrity Dirty Laundry for the pic!

Bump Watch: Ellen and Heidi

Both Ellen Pompeo and Heidi Klum announced their pregnancies in April and Seal also announced at the same time that Heidi was about three months pregnant while Ellen’s camp gave the vague ‘due in the fall’ response. I don’t know though, I would think it would have to be very early fall because after carrying this baby around all summer, Ellen’s going to be the size of a house! She already looks super preggers. Ellen was recently seen out and about with that ever-growing bump and some of her costars have also had some very nice things to say about what Ellen will be like as a mom. “Ellen Pompeo is ready to be a mom!

At least that’s what her Grey’s Anatomy costar, Jessica Capshaw, tells Usmagazine.com.

“She is so on top of it, and she is so excited and she is very sweet about it,” Capshaw told Us at an event at the Byron & Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills on Thursday. “She is doing her research.”

Capshaw — who had her first child, Luke, in September 2007 — hasn’t had to give any parenting advice.

“She doesn’t need any,” the actress tells Us. “She is exactly the waythat she should be about it, which is really excited and hopeful but at the same time really pragmatic and planning. And I think that is the best way for her to be.”

Yep, the whole mommy thing will be very new to Ellen but also-pregnant Heidi Klum will be wearing the title like an old hat as she and her husband Seal are expected to have their baby also in the fall. This will be the fourth child for the two. I wonder how the pregnancy and birth will affect Heidi’s show Project Runway as that’s set to start up again in August. Well at least for the first few months we’ll be able to watch Heidi in all of those glamourous designer maternity dresses. But even when she’s just out on errands, Heidi Klum is stunning of course. With the fifth season of her very successful show, Grey’s Anatomy, all wrapped up, a very pregnant Ellen Pompeo swung by the construction site of her new home to see that all was as it should be. Can I just say that this is a truly horrible that Ellen has chosen? One of my favorite things about celebrity pregnancies is that we get to see all the cute maternity wear that the rest of us can’t afford but this just looks like Ellen woke up, wrapped a towel around her, and found the closest thing that looked like shoes to slip on. I understand that in pregnancy little else matters other than comfort but come on, there’s got to be a better way. And the visible bra straps is just trashy no matter how you look at it. I didn’t really think that we would hear too much about Ellen Pompeo’s pregnancy after she announced it just last week. I suppose it’s because I have a bad habit of disliking actors based on the characters they play and I can’t stand Meredith on Grey’s Anatomy. But it seems there are a few people interested in this pregnancy and so Ellen will have bump watches and all. This pic was taken as Ellen and her husband, Chris Ivery, headed out to the gym this weekend. Ellen isn’t due until the fall but she’s already got a nice little bump goin on! Ellen Pompeo is Having a Baby!

Grey’s Anatomy star, Ellen Pompeo is having a baby and it is the first for her and her husband, Chris Ivery. The two are practically still newlyweds, as they were married in 2007 but according to Ellen, it’s time to get started. And that they did! From Bump Shack,

“We enjoy our life so much,” Pompeo said in the October 2008 issue. “We go to Europe and sleep in. So when I have the baby, I won’t feel like we’ve missed any fun, reckless times together, like staying up all night drinking champagne and having sex until five in the morning and not having to get up until two in the afternoon. But I’ve got to get on it, because the clock is ticking.”

All this story means for me is that Ellen’s character on Grey’s might get a little more interesting - if they decide to bring her pregnancy into her story line. Maybe then she could stop whining about all the made up problems between her and McDreamy and there could actually be something happening in her life. Now that would be a change! Congrats to the happy couple!
