Jennifer Hudson is Expecting Again!

First Jennifer Hudson was known for her big voice on American Idol, then she was known for hitting the big screen in the first Sex and the City movie. But now, Jennifer seems to want to be known for something else – baby making! It came as a shock to the world when Hudson announced last June that she was seven months pregnant. Now that little baby, named David Jr. is four months old and Jennifer has more shocking news for us – She’s pregnant again! I can’t even imagine having a newborn in the house with a baby that’s not even a year old yet. And apparently, neither can Jennifer! The pregnancy was unplanned but, as many of them are, completely welcomed and anticipated! From Star,

“Big baby news! Star was first to report that Jennifer Hudson was pregnant with her first child — a son she named David Jr., now 4 months old. And now we can reveal exclusively that she and fiancé David Otunga are adding to their family.
“Jennifer was in total shock when she found out she was having another baby,” says her close friend, who adds that the couple learned they were expecting on Dec. 10. “She had wanted some space between the kids’ ages.”

Still, the star, 28, has embraced her second pregnancy.

“She and David love kids,” says the pal. “It’s another thing for them to celebrate during the holidays.”

Will Jennifer Hudson ever be able to marry David Otunga? Probably not if they keep making themselves too busy with diaper changes and midnight feedings. Unless of course they have a couple of those handy dandy nannies that so many celebrities seem to keep on-hand at all times. But whether they ever get officially married or not, I think this is one of the sweetest couples that Hollywood’s got going for it! Congratulations to Jennifer, David, and cute little David Jr.!

The pic above is of Jennifer and her son David when he was just three months old (so last month.) Hopefully we get to see more of the family after the new little one is born. We had to wait for Oprah’s Holiday Extravaganza for this one! But to be fair, David still hasn’t been born all that long for pics. So cute, isn’t he?

There’s no doubt that Jennifer Hudson is still mourning the loss of her mother, brother and nephew that she suffered last year but this year promises to be one of only beautiful blessings for the young singer. She has not only been busy making wedding plans but it’s also recently been announced that Hudson has recently had a baby shower by one of her closest friends. The sex of the baby? Well, just like the date of the wedding, the camp is keeping mum about this one but it’s clear that good things are all around for Jennifer right now! From Gossip Girls,

“She suffered an unimaginable loss with the slaying of her family members last year, but it sounds as if Jennifer Hudson is looking to add a bundle of joy to her life.

According to reports, Miss Hudson was thrown a baby shower over the weekend by longtime pal Felicia Fields.

“It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family,” Fields told press. “They’re really trying to keep it kind of quiet. It was a nice time that we had.”

When asked whether the former “American Idol” star is expecting a boy or girl, Fields replied: “They don’t know [the gender]. More yellow.”

I can’t even say how happy I am for Jennifer! What a wonderful year for her after such hardship! Congratulations Jennifer and David!

We Know Who But not When

Jennifer Hudson is engaged to David Otunga, who if you know him at all, it’s probably from his reality TV show, I Love New York 2. I had never heard of him before today and I certainly didn’t know that Jennifer Hudson was engaged to him - or to anyone for that fact! But the two are definitely engaged and have been since September 2008, after they had been dating for less than a year. The tragic multiple murders of her family members happened just a month after that and so understandably, any wedding plans were put on hold. But now Hudson is ready to move ahead with her life and she has set a date - although she’s not telling what that date is. From People,

“After Idol’s tribute to Motown Wednesday, Hudson — who finished in 7th place in season 3 — pre-taped a performance for a future episode of the show. Host Ryan Seacrest then chatted with Hudson and asked her if she had set a date for her wedding. “Yeah, but it’s a secret,” she replied. “I can’t tell anybody.”

Hudson, who will be touring with Robin Thicke to promote her self-titled, debut album starting March 31, told Seacrest, “It feels great” to be back on the stage where she started her singing career.”

I’m happy to hear that Jennifer is moving on with her life. I’m not a huge Hudson fan when it comes to her music and such (although I did love her in the Sex and the City movie) but I do deeply sympathize with her for what she went through last year. It’s nice to know that she seems to be coming out of the dark a little bit and focusing on the happier, more positive things in life.

Jennifer Hudson is Engaged

The sight of Jennifer Hudson really makes me want to vomit. I think that she got too big too fast, what with her Oscar and all, and she just seems to me to be one of those uptight, judgemental people that walk around Hollywood thinking they’re all that when they’re actually all wrong. It seems that her world may come crashing down around her soon even though she may be on Cloud 9 at the moment. She has recently become engaged and my prediction for this one is not good, for many reasons. From the Daily Blabber,

Great, right?

Sure, except for the fact that, not too long ago, Dave was fighting to be Tiffany “New York” Pallard’s man on VH1’s I Love New York 2. Yup, Jennifer’s man was a New York castoff, who went by the name of “Punk”.

I don’t know anything about this show so I don’t know how long ago that it was that he was ‘in love’ with this other woman but it doesn’t sound like it was all that long ago. And Jennifer and he haven’t even been dating for a year! This is what I mean. If this wedding goes through, and I’m doubtful that it will even get that far, I don’t think it will last any longer than his little-known reality show.
