Cameron Diaz and A-Rod are Still Going Strong

Even though you’d never know it. Cameron Diaz and A-Rod are both keeping pretty hush-hush about their relationship, even when they’re at a Yankees party with all the players and their wives. That’s where they were just recently but, Cameron and A-Rod stayed on separate sides of the room, while Cameron chatted up the wives and hung out with them for most of the night. Not surprisingly, this scored huge points with said wives, and because of it and the fact that Diaz isn’t attention-seeking like A-Rod’s ex, Kate Hudson, the wives sound as though they’re giving her the stamp of approval. “CAMERON DIAZ kept her distance from her rumoured boyfriend ALEX RODRIGUEZ at a birthday bash on Sunday (18Jul10) – by spending the whole night mixing with the wives of his New York Yankees team-mates.

The actress has gone to great lengths to keep her reported romance with the sports ace out of the public domain, but recently referenced their relationship in a magazine interview, saying, “I grew up with the (Los Angeles) Dodgers, but now I’m a Yankees fan.”

And the pair kept a low profile at a party for baseball player CC Sabathia’s 30th birthday in New York – Diaz arrived separately from Rodriguez and they spent most of the evening apart, according to New York Post gossip column PageSix.

The publication reports the Charlie’s Angels star was a huge hit with his team-mates’ partners – because she didn’t attract attention like his previous Hollywood girlfriend Kate Hudson.

An insider tells the publication, “Cameron doesn’t cling to A-Rod like Kate Hudson, whose front row antics didn’t go down well with the wives. Cameron kept it low-key and hung with the girls. She and Alex stayed on opposite sides of the room but they kept glancing and smiling. He didn’t look at another girl.”

So, if Cameron is making sly comments about how much she loves Rodriguez’s baseball team, could this mean that the two are planning on going public with their relationship sometime soon? While the wives may not appreciate that so much, I certainly would. I’ve never thought too much of Alex Rodriguez, mostly because I don’t watch baseball and I think he’s ugly. But, I do love Cameron Diaz, and I think that she’s pretty enough to make them a cute couple all on her own.

And seriously, what’s with all the hate on Kate Hudson? We didn’t see that much of her when she was with A-Rod, although certainly more than we’re seeing Cameron. And the Yankee fans loved her, thinking that she was bringing good luck to the team! I guess the wives had a different opinion.

No Big Wedding for Cameron Diaz

No, the wedding rumors haven’t started just yet about Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez, but if these two ever do decide to tie the knot, it won’t be a huge, grand affair of any kind. Not if Cameron has anything to say about it, at least. With the soon to be released movie, Shrek Forever After, Diaz is busy promoting and she recently sat down with Parade magazine to talk about her attachment to her character, Fiona, and how much she can relate to her. She also talks about her own life, romance, and how a big wedding will never be in her plans. From Parade,

“I believe in happily ever after. I didn’t get it from a book; a princess didn’t act it out for me. But I definitely have a happily ever after. Somebody asked me, ‘How come you’re always so smiley?’ I’m like, ‘Duh, because I’m grateful for everything that I have.’ I’m in love with life. It puts a smile on my face and in my heart,” Diaz says.

Cameron Diaz got a kick out of making Fiona even more feisty in Shrek Forever After, which marks the conclusion of the hugely successful animated fairy tale. The green ogress, who’s raising a family with her giant hubby, is facing a struggle to keep her marriage together, but she hasn’t lost her own identity. For Diaz, that’s what is important in life.

Cameron says, “Fiona has always been about ‘this is who I am, and I’m not going to change’ ever since becoming her true Ogre self. I connected with that spirit from the very beginning because I think that’s the way to live. I’ve definitely always been strong-willed. You have to believe in yourself.”

When it comes to the opposite sex.
“I think that the rules in relationships are: no tricks, honesty, communication, treat people the way you want to be treated, unconditional love. Those are the things that I think are important. But, you know, rules are made to be broken.”

Not worried about finding long-term love.
“I am a romantic. I love romance. I’m not afraid of commitment. I commit to everything I’m doing and I am hopelessly loyal. But I hate predicting the future, I really do, because you just don’t know. I can’t even make up my mind what I’m going to do this weekend.”

“The mystique and the romance of a big wedding are lost on me. I don’t think that I could ever do something that extravagant. I am not much of a planner. I would probably make the phone call twenty minutes before the bus leaves for the chapel and ask if anyone is available to come. That’s probably how my wedding is going to end up.”

I just love Cameron Diaz so much and I love the fact that while she’s totally the girl next door, she’s also a non-traditionalist and in the end, will do what makes her happy. She is always so bubbly and happy too but she’s not obnoxious about it.

So I guess if Cameron ever does get married, we’re likely not to hear about it until after the fact. And in today’s day and age when celebrities use their weddings as just another way to show everyone how much money they have, that’s just one more reason to love her.

What’s the Deal with A-Rod?

Alex Rodriguez has been made famous, if not for his all-star baseball skills, than for making otherwise intelligent women in Hollywood fall for him like complete idiots. Seriously, I don’t know what the deal is with this guy, and I certainly don’t understand why so many women find him so incredibly attractive. But, after Madonna smartened up and dumped him, he hooked up with Kate Hudson, a woman that I admire and respect, and who I believe has a perfectly good brain in her head (except when it comes to A-Rod, apparently.) But now, it seems he’s captured another Hollywood lady under his spell, and it’s Cameron Diaz! Yet another actress that I love, and wish she could get a brain. This news comes from Contact Music,

“CAMERON DIAZ has fuelled rumours she is dating KATE HUDSON’s ex-boyfriend ALEX RODRIGUEZ – after she was spotted leaving the baseball player’s New York apartment following a night out.

But the sportsman was rumoured to have moved on from the actress with Diaz after he was spotted with her during the Super Bowl festivities in February (10).

Now Diaz has caused further speculation she is dating Rodriguez, by dining with him at the Big Apple’s Hotel Griffou, along with actress pal Kate Winslet on Saturday night (01May10), reports New York Post gossip column Page Six.

The Charlie’s Angels actress was then reportedly photographed leaving Rodriguez’s home the following day on Sunday afternoon (02May10).”

Normally, I would think that these rumors weren’t true. That’s usually my first inclination when there’s a new rumor that I’m just praying isn’t true. But I don’t know. These two certainly do be spending a lot, a lot of time together lately. And I don’t think that A-Rod has any movie plans in the near future so I don’t think it’s a coworker/peer thing. But spending the night at his house? And going out for dinner repeatedly (although I think that Kate Winslet thing may have just actually been a gathering of friends.) I guess we’ll all find out in a couple of months when they decide to go public with it. And that’s only if this rumor is true. I’m still hoping it’s not.

Gerard Butler Has Daddy Issues

I like Gerard Butler less and less. I’m not much of one for womanizers to begin with, and I see absolutely no appeal to Gerard so, it makes even less sense to me. Being linked with names like Jennifer Aniston, Cheryl Burke, and Cameron Diaz, it’s widely known that Gerard Butler truly does like to explore his options. And then while filming Law Abiding Citizen, apparently he couldn’t get along with Jamie Foxx, because Foxx kept sneaking away to Vegas. I guess Gerard was upset that Jamie would get to those women before he could. But just about everything I’ve heard about Gerard Butler has put him in a dim light. Now it seems, there’s a reason behind his actions, or at least all of the field-playing. And Gerard tells us, it’s because his dad left him at a very young age.

Apparently, Gerard’s dad left him when Gerard was just two and having grown up without a father, he’s now a commitment-phobe. Oh, give me a break. I’m so sick and tired of men (and women too) blaming everything on how they were raised and that’s why they have so many issues. Grow up and own what ya got, people. We’re all adults now. The Law Abiding Citizen star, who recently said that rumours about his love life are harming his reputation, has insisted that his issues with women stem from his father not being around.

Butler also revealed that he needs to find the right woman first to start a family, saying: “It’s about time. But a woman by my side would be very helpful in this project.”

I also love how he’s looking for a woman, not because he wants to share that kind of love with someone, or because he knows there’s someone out there just for him, but because he needs a baby-machine. And the reason why he needs a baby-machine? Well, because it’s about time. Another really great reason to have a child. And an even better reason to find someone to have that child for you.

Seriously, is this guy for real? Can anyone really be that bad at interviews? And why women all over the world going gaga over Gerard Butler? Well, it beats me. But I never got that whole Russell Crowe thing either.

Unfortunately, JT and JB are Still Together

Remember when there were massive rumors going around that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel had split up? And remember when shortly after, no one could get a photo of the two together to save their life? And then do you remember when we all jumped and down clapping our hands in glee? Well, remain in your seats, folks cuz those rumors just weren’t true. The two were recently seen out together in Vancouver and they look just like they always do – like they could be with anyone and their expressions nor their demeanor would not be any different. Gawd! I thought we had finally been rid of the Most Boring Couple on the Planet. Guess not.

What puzzles me most about this is not where the rumors were started in the first place (because who cares really?) Or that they are still together (because at this point, I’m really thinking that neither of them can be bothered to look for someone who they actually feel something towards.) It’s a quote from Justin’s grandmother. In the quote, she talks about how Justin has always been, and always will be single until he’s ready to give up his career. Or something like that. She also talks about how Justin isn’t ready to marry just yet and how that also shows that he’s single. Uumm…..someone should tell Granny that you don’t have to be married to not be single. Why does Justin’s family think that they can control who he sees, how serious he gets about them, or whether or not he’s ready to be married? Sheesh. First his mother and now his grandmother. And I’m no JT fan, but he is a big boy. I bet Cameron Diaz is glad that she got out when she did. Otherwise, they’d be a couple that’s been dating for six years now and his family still wouldn’t consider it “anything serious.”

What is Going on With Cameron Diaz?

Cameron Diaz has sort of been laying low lately. After her split from Justin Timberlake, it was big news that she started dating model, Paul Sculfor. The two dated for about six months when they split and last it was reported, Cameron was dating Adam Levine. But all of that happened back in May and ever since, we’ve really heard very little on the subject of Cameron and her many men. Apparently though, nothing ever came of the Adam relationship, or it was all falsehood to begin with because now, there is not one, but two, new men in Cameron’s life. Phew! That girl knows how to play single!

The two men that are reported to be the centers of Cameron’s affection are Leonardo DiCaprio, who also became recently single after his split from Bar Rafeali, and Jude Law, who Cameron co-starred with in a movie sometime back. Aw, this is like the best of Kate Hudson and Jennifer Aniston combined. There are so many men and so little time! So far though, Cameron has started any reruns, unlike her predecessors. “Jude and Cameron have been good friends since they filmed The Holiday together a few years ago. Now they are both single, things are a bit different between them. Jude has been flirting with her and she has been playing along.”

Who knows? Maybe Cameron will dump both of them and find someone new to play with for a little while. She is hot though and very classy too. So, it’s another case where I can’t help but cheer the single girl on as we have fun watching her have fun!

Cameron’s Old and New

Cameron Diaz has been a very busy girl lately. Not only does she have a new movie coming out, My Sister’s Keeper, but she’s also been doing some moving around in the romance department - physically as well as emotionally it seems. While she was dating model Paul Sculfor, who FYI was also dating Jennifer Aniston at one point, the two were doing a lot of moving around and trying to keep up with the other’s schedule. Paul ultimately wanted to live in his UK homeland while Diaz wanted to keep to her Yankee roots. So the two split. Kinda sorta sad but not very surprising. Cameron Diaz seems to get all swept up in guys and become super-serious about them only to just up and leave them one day. It’s one of the reasons why I love her so much.

And it’s not like she spent much time crying over it either as she’s already hooked up and taken him to meet her mom! The lucky man that will now be donning Cameron’s arm is Maroon 5 singer, Adam Levine. From Pop Crunch,

“Her mom made things easy though - she laughed and joked around with them and it was clear that everyone had a blast. Cameron and Adam were super cute with each other and there was definitely a strong attraction.”

Like all of Cameron’s hookups, I’m feeling pretty good about this one. These two look cute together but Cameron is super hot and would look good with just about anyone…although I thought that about Drew Barrymore too before she met up with Tom Green.

An Update on Diaz

Cameron Diaz has been keeping a pretty low profile since reports came out one day that she was dating P. Diddy and then almost the next there were stories that she was dating Paul Sculfor, a little-known actor who from what I can tell has only been in two TV episodes and both times he played himself. He is actually more known for being the ex of Jennifer Aniston and for now being the newest love interest of the There’s Something About Mary star. When it first came out that the two were dating, the obligatory marriage rumors also came with it but Cameron has made it clear that she is not ready to exchange vows with anyone just yet. She is however, ready to meet Paul’s mom, and she will soon be flying to England to do just that. From New Chatter,

“The actress will fly to England to meet her boyfriend’s mom. Paul Sculfor, the actress’ boyfriend thinks his mom will like Cameron very much. Even though the couple are extremely happy together, they will not be getting married anytime soon. Paul had this to say: “You know, we’re having fun. I’m glad that Cameron isn’t jumping on the marriage bandwagon. I like to see people take their time, figure stuff out, and get to know each other and with all the secret weddings and impromptu ceremonies that seem to take place among the folks of Tinseltown, this is actually quite refreshing to see.

Who is this Guy with Cameron Diaz?

So have I just been living under a rock that I have no idea who this guy is that’s mauling Cameron Diaz and who she is, by the way, happily mauling back. According to FoxNews, they have been doing this for months and the man is Paul Sculfor, another ex of Jennifer Aniston. Okay, what?!? First of all, I have no idea who this person is and second of all, last I heard, Cameron was trying to get behind closed doors with P. Diddy. And not only are they dating but there’s also rumors that they are planning to get married. Well okay those rumors run rampant about any Hollywood couple but it’s clear that these two are pretty serious about each other. From FoxNews,

Diaz and British model Paul Sculfor stayed side by side during the tennis matches, with Diaz sitting in Sculfor’s lap.

I doubt the marriage rumors are true since I think Cameron is still nursing some serious Justin wounds but she definitely looks happy and it’s nice to see! This couple did seem to come out of nowhere and I don’t know about it. I was kind of hoping that the thing with her and P. Diddy would catch on. Those two would be a riot to watch!

Finally Some JT and Jessica Rumors!

Okay so just when I started to accuse them of being boring, it seems that Jessica Biel may be pregnant with Justin’s kid! This actually probably isn’t true as they have been spotted out quite a bit lately and she usually looks as thin as ever but according to Celebitchy, TMZ just got some video of her and her man walking through a parking lot and apparently, she looked pregnant. I can’t tell from this photo whether it looks like she has a pooch or not but I’m guessing this video just happened to catch a shot at a bad (or good!) angle.

But there is more to this story than just a faux pregnancy to spice up this couple’s love life. It seems that Lynn Harless, Justin’s mom, doesn’t really care for Jessica alll that much and she believes that Justin is too young to get married, which other reports say is something he’s considering seriously. The Pop Crunch Show says this about it,

“It’s created a huge dilemma for Justin,”an Enquirer spy reveals. “He loves Jessica and has every intention of marrying her, but he also adores his mom and doesn’t want t cause any waves with her.”

While Lynn thinks 27 year-old Justin is “too young” to tie the knot, Jessica’s main grip with Lynn is her inability to leave the young couple alone. Jessica feels Lynn is too heavily involved in Justin’s private life:

“Lynne is often at Justin’s home, where she insists on doing his laundry and overseeing what Jessica is cooking. She even made an appearance while Justin and Jessica were having a romantic dinner.”

It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if Justin was a mama’s boy - he just seems the type. But really, there comes a time when the apron strings must be cut and one must live one’s own life. I think Justin may have wanted to marry Cameron Diaz too, what with their four-year relationship and all, but maybe it was really Justin’s mom that stood in the way that time too. I can just imagine how fast things will hit the fan if Jessica really is pregnant. Lynn thought she was angry about a potential wedding!! Wait until she hears that there’s going to be an actual baby!! These two could become an interesting couple after all.
