Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart Are Hitched!

Aw, they finally did it! Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart, after eight years of dating, have finally gotten married! There’s not a lot of information about the wedding except that it took place in New Mexico and that it sounds like it was a pretty small affair. From the Vancouver Sun,

“Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart were married Tuesday at the Goverenor’s Mansion in Santa Fe, New Mexico, TMZ.com reports.

The celebrity gossip and news website said the ceremony was performed by Gov. Bill Richardson

The couplehave been together for nearly eight years, and got engaged over Valentine’s weekend in 2009, TMZ said on Wednesday.

Ford is currently filming Cowboys and Aliens in New Mexico right now.”

Calista Flockheart and Harrison Ford are such a great couple and I have no doubt that this will be a very long and happy marriage. The two have managed to stay pretty much out of the public eye, even though they’re both superstars and I think that’s a tribute to their relationship. Congratulations to them both! I am truly so happy for them!

Are Calista and Harrison Getting Married?

Well, since they’ve been engaged for about two decades, you would think that they would be getting married eventually but I think many of us have given up hope at this point. Truthfully, Calista Flockhart and her beau hunk Harrison Ford have only been engaged for two years, which is a lifetime in celebrity marriages never mind engagements, but they have been together for a solid 7 years. Now it seems they have settled into a nice routine on their ranch and have decided that it might just be time to make it official. From Celebrity Baby Scoop,

“After 7 years together, rumor has it that Calista Flockhart and her fiance Harrison Ford will soon be taking a walk down the aisle.

Engaged for almost 2 years - he popped the question on April Fool’s Day in 2007 - reports are that Harrison, 66, and Calista, 44, will wed any day:

“Rumours of their imminent wedding are said to be swirling in the town of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where the couple have an 800-acre ranch. They have reportedly had blood tests, which in some parts of the U.S. are required in order to obtain a marriage licence.”

I love these two whether they ever want to get married or not. It might be something about how blended their family is - she’ll be a stepmom to his four children and I guess, a step-grandma to his grandchild and he’ll be a stepdad to her littlest one, Liam, who she adopted shortly before hooking up with the actor. They seem to be a couple that are truly happy together and it’s always nice to see them together, whether they’re hitched or not.
