This is weird, right?

So after the son, Jayden James, of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline was admitted into the hospital after suffering from an allergic reaction, he was released shortly after and there was talk that his father, K-Fed, was going to be flying to Louisiana to be with his sons and ex-wife, Britney. It turns out though that upon hearing of his son’s release, he decided it wasn’t worth the trip after all and stayed right where he was. He did however, get his lawyer to issue a statement about the whole ordeal. Okay, so that’s weird.

It’s weird because, Federline wasn’t even there! He had no way of knowing what was said, what treatments were given to his son - because he wasn’t there. So he was going on what Britney, the child’s mother, was telling him. So I would think that if anybody should be releasing a statement, it should be Britney, or her lawyer. Seeing as how she was there and all. Not only that but this statement from Federline’s lawyer makes it sound as though Britney and her family should be thankful that no one will be looking into the matter any further. I know a lot of stuff has been Britney’s fault but I certainly don’t think this was. This is the statement from Celebrity Baby Scoop,

“I think that whatever it is, a food allergy or some other case, we don’t know yet,” Kaplan told E!. “We’re pleased that someone was aware enough to see that he was having some sort of reaction and do what was necessary to make sure there were no chances taken and got Jayden to the appropriate facility and got the appropriate evaluation to be timely.”

“We’re not going to jump to conclusions right now. I don’t anticipate there being a hearing,” Kaplan said. “I anticipate that Kevin and Britney as concerned parents will exchange information and satisfy themselves that what happened was a freak occurrence and do what they have to do to make sure that it doesn’t happen again.”

“Kevin was considering going to Louisiana, but the information that we had was Jayden was already checked out,” Kaplan explained. “The kids will be back with Kevin shortly, not yet.”

So this whole entire thing seems weird to me, right from the beginning of the statement where it sounds as though Kaplan is talking so coldly about the fact that the boy’s family, including his mother, was there and saw it all happening and that they were able to ‘do what was necessary.’ I don’t understand why this statement was necessary and I think it makes Federline look like a bigger idiot than he already was.

Britney’s Son Visits Hospital on Trip Home

Britney Spears arrived in Louisiana on Friday with her dad, brother, and two sons. It was a big trip as it would be the entire Spears clan reunited, even with all the babies, including the newest, Maddie Briann. Britney was said to be especially excited as the trip home was the first for her with the boys and the first time ever taking them out of state of California since she lost custody. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the very worst as Britney faced every parent’s nightmare - watching your child suffer a horrible allergic reaction that could quickly turn tragic. “Jayden apparently suffered a “a terrible allergic reaction. He had hives, was itchy and irritable,” and although they do not know what caused the reaction, he is now “fine.” Jayden entered a Kentwood, Louisiana hospital at 1:30 PM Sunday and was kept overnight for observation, and is, according to Britney’s official website, expected to be released tomorrow,

“Jayden James Federline was admitted to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Sunday, November 9th. Doctors concluded he had a reaction to something he ingested. He is expected to be discharged tomorrow.”

Entertainment Tonight has confirmed that Britney Spears‘ 2-year-old son Jayden James was rushed to the hospital on Sunday afternoon, after suffering from a “suspected seizure.”

Britney’s youngest son reportedly lapsed into a “vague and unresponsive” state while the family vacationed in Kentwood, Louisiana. Jayden was kept overnight for observation. Jayden’s dad, Kevin Federline, is reportedly on the way to Louisiana.”

I’m glad that it sounds as though Jayden James is going to be fine but I can’t help but think back to a few months ago when this same little boy was suspected to be affected with the neurological disorder autism. Reports then were that he would be tested but nothing more was ever said publicly. And it sounds like in this case, very little is being said as well and with the few facts we have been given, I don’t think it’s a far stretch to connect it to the autism story, if in fact it’s true that there was a suspicion there to begin with. Hopefully Jayden James will be discharged today with a stamp of approval from doctors and nothing more will come of this.

On the lighter side of things, is it possible that this bad situation that has pushed Britney and K-Fed back together once again, will actually further the reunion rumors and see these two getting back together?

Britney Shows her Kids her Roots

After a busy week showing up at Dodger Stadium to perform with Madonna, which was also the first public performance she has given since her embarrasment at last year’s MTV Awards, Britney Spears took a little chill time with both of her boys as she packed them up and took them to her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, where her mother and sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, live with along with Jamie Lynn’s little one, Maddie Briann. The reunion seemed to be a very happy one as the whole family, including brother Brian, is taking some time to reconnect. From Just Jared,

“Britney Spears takes her two sons — Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2 — home to Kentwood, Louisiana on Friday morning. The trio was accompanied by Britney’s older brother Brian and father Jamie.

They were all greeted at the airport by Britney’s mother Lynne. Britney, 26, and the kids are expected to stay in town for a week for a little family bonding.”

Once again, it’s nice to see Britney taking some time to show her boys what’s really important in life and this does just prove that she is off the road of recovery and has made it back to the land of the living. I’m glad that she’s better now but I wish she’d at least start seeing someone so we’d have something more interesting to talk about rather than just her family visits and great performances. But I suppose with the past couple of years that she’s had, it wouldn’t be a bad thing for her to stay boring Britney for a little while longer.

Jamie Spears in Permanent Control

Now this is a story that saddens me. It’s no secret that ever since her breakdown in January, Britney Spears has worked to become a totally new person - sort of like the Britney we once knew but older and maybe just a little bit wiser. Certainly with more life lessons under her belt. And it’s no doubt due in part to the fact that her father, Jamie Spears, has been in control of pretty much everything that happens in Britney’s life. But ever since the hearing in July that would determine whether he would retain control or whether Britney would be left to have another go of it herself, I’ve been sort of leaning towards the latter side of things. But now, it seems as though that will never, ever happen as Jamie Spears has just recently been granted permanent conservatorship over his daughter. From the Daily Blabber,

“The pop star’s dad, along with her attorney, was granted permanent legal control of his daughter, a court ruled yesterday. The temporary conservatorship was set to expire on Dec. 31, but after court meetings and evaluations of Britney’s mental health records, her lawyer told the judge that the singer has no objections to Jamie Spears remaining in control.

“The court finds the proposed permanent conservatorship is necessary and appropriate [because of the] complexities of her financial and business entities and also potential for her being susceptible to influences,” said Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz, who has been presiding over the case.”

My problem here isn’t really with any particular person in this story. I have no doubt that Jamie only wants what’s best for his daughter and since this has been working so far, why not stick with it? However, with all of the great strides that she has made, I really would like to see her have enough confidence to try and remain on the right track all by herself. I mean, she’s gotten the proper help now and her family could be right there, waiting to step in should it really be too early for Britney to try this but I think she should at least be given the chance. Firstly though, I think that she should realize herself the positive moves that she’s made and she needs to give herself a chance.

Is Mary-Kate Pregnant?

They may have once been cute but the Olsen twins these days are generally known for stirring up trouble. This time the attention is turned to Mary-Kate and she’s not in trouble…per se…but I suppose it’s all in how you view it. Celebrity Dirty Laundry has recently received a ‘hot tip’ that she may finally have something in her belly….a baby! This is what the website has to say about their tip,

“Last Friday, Mary-Kate Olsen, 20, linked to Heath Ledger at his death, was spotted with a female friend visiting the chic baby boutique Petit Tresor in West Hollywood. Her friend was teasing her about her belly and they spent more than forty five minutes browsing nursery furniture and Mary-Kate purchased burp cloths, bibs and t-shirts from Plain Mary emblazoned with the word “Babe” as well as a playmat and changing pad. In addition, she picked up a few layette items from.
If pregnant, the obvious father would probably be boyfriend Lapo Elkann, 31, known in the media as an Italian playboy, and the heir to the Fiat empire.”

I’m giving this one a big N-O. This story is simply not true. There aren’t even any credited sources, or even anonymous ones, she was simply ’spotted’ there. And I’m even doubting that as this baby boutique is notorious for spreading false stories about many different celebrities buying their baby clothes there, including Katie Holmes, Britney Spears, Jessica Alba, and Lisa Marie Presley. Add to that the fact that I’m sure that Mary-Kate Olsen is careful, careful when she’s gallavanting around town just so this exact thing doesn’t happen - I just don’t see her as the mothering type. So we shall move on but really, Mary-Kate, you should put some food in there.

Britney and her Boys

As I’m sure all you bloggers of the world would agree, when we spend so much time talking about the very lowest lows of someone’s life, it’s only fair when we show them once they are healthy and back to the land of the living. It’s no secret that Britney Spears has been making great strides in her road to recovery and every day, she begins to look a little more like the Britney we all love. Here she is seen picking up her boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James from preschool yesterday. Doesn’t she look happy and at peace? FINALLY?!?!? We can all only hope that she stays on this track and continues to be the great mom that she has finally seemed to find within herself. The Next Britney in the Making

Lord knows that I have said my fair share about Miley Cyrus but things like this just make it so easy. It takes me back about ten years, when Britney Spears first exploded onto the scene and made all-innocent, spouting how virginity was the only way to go and then completely contradicting herself by dressing in slutty outfits, usually of the mid-rif variety, and showing boys and girls fawning all over each other in her videos. It’s what first made me hate Britney and although I do really like her now, let’s remember that I had to feel bad for her because of her mental breakdown first. And it would seem that Ms. Cyrus is on much the same path.

This is a girl that allows photos of herself to be taken where only a sheet clings around her front and weeks later raunchy photos of her in her undies, taken supposedly on her cell phone, were leaked over the Internet. She has been seen with at least two boys, which may or may not have been dates, and has really shown what her true colors are at the young of 15. However, she is still trying to keep up the sticky-sweet image, most recently with her sticky-sweet 16 party. Here is a sickening photo of her and Minnie Mouse and really, does Miley need to be wearing those stilettos? Even at 16, which she’s not for another 7 weeks, these heels just scream the wrong message…or maybe the right one, in Miley’s opinion. “Miley Cyrus celebrated her 16th birthday, seven weeks early, with a concert at Disneyland.

It was basically the sickeningly sweet affair you would expect — complete with Miley’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus singing “Achy Breaky Heart” with his daughter’s new boyfriend, Justin Gaston.

“This is the most amazing sweet 16 that a girl could have!” Miley told the crowd as she took the stage.

Then, the crowd, complete with celebs like David Archuelta, Steve Carell, Tyra Banks and Cindy Crawford, serenaded the teen sensation with a rendition of “Happy Birthday,” and fireworks lit up the sky.”

Well yay for Miley. I guess she celebrated early in Disneyland because she has to celebrate her actual birthday with rehab…or are we not there yet?

Britney’s Sex Tape Scandal

I often compare the world of Hollywood to that of a soap opera and in the case of soaps, there’s a fact that all loyal viewers know: when life is going too good for a character, they’re in for a world of hurt very soon, and Britney Spears is sure a prime example right now of how true that is! She has spent all year rebuilding her life and getting things back on track and now her ex-boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, is threatening to release a sex tape of him and Britney to whoever’s willing to pay the most amount of money for it. Remember Adnan? He was the one that Britney ran away with to Mexico and was rumored to have gotten married to. She was photographed all over Mexico wearing that ridiculous pink wig of hers. Obviously, it was not a good time in her life.

Now it seems that Britney is willing to spend whatever it takes to get the video back safe and sound in her own hands to ensure that all of her hard work isn’t flushed right down the crapper. From Celebrity Dirty Laundry,

“Britney is desperate to get hold of the tape, and is prepared to pay “whatever it costs” to protect her reputation and keep the tape out of the public eye. A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “Britney’s lawyers have been working overtime. They’ve been told to do whatever it takes to stop the video making it onto the internet.”

However, a source close to Britney has denied the sex tape exists outright, saying: “Ghalib’s story is completely false.” Rumours of the footage first surfaced in May, when paparazzi photographer Adnan reportedly first tried to sell a two-hour tape – said to include Britney stripping, a long session of foreplay and twenty minutes of full sex between Britney and Adnan.”

See, this makes me mad. I used to hate Britney and now, I’m being forced to feel sorry for her. First she has to have her daddy babysit her all the time (which I fully admit is necessary but c’mon on! That’s gotta suck!) Then she has her mother completely exploit her by writing that book revealing all of the Spears’ family secrets and now, just when she’s making TV appearances and cleaning up at the VMAs, a bitter boyfriend comes out with this. I think it’s truly despicable and I hope she eventually gets to sue the pants off him!

K Fed and Britney Try to Work it Out

So I am not at all sure what to think about this story. Rumors started last week that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were trying to patch things up and get back together now that Britney seems to be on the road to recovery and Kevin has played such an active role in her and the boys’ life really ever since they got married. Now there is talk that they are going to couple’s therapy but the source is the National Enquirer, which I always tend to doubt anyway and it’s an unnamed source, making it a sort of double whammy in my books. BUT this is not the first time I have heard about the two trying to reconcile and so I’m tempted to start believing this story. From Pop Crunch,

“Kevin Federline and Britney Spears are desperately trying to salvage their relationship with the help of couples’ therapy, The National Enquirer claims. The divorced parents of sons Sean, 3, and Jayden, 2, believe being raised by them both is what’s best for their boys.

“Kevin still loves Britney, too-and if all goes well after six months of counseling, they’ll move in together with the boys.”

A Britney pal tells The Enquirer: “Britney is on board because she’ll do anything to have her boys back full-time…Part of their therapy involves going on ‘formal dates,’ and Britney is so excited!”

“The new Britney is more focused, and Kevin is eager to work with her on their future. They’re both optimistic, and while they’re not talking about getting remarried right now, it’s not out of the question.”

So although this story does seem to be escalating, I still hope that this doesn’t happen and I don’t like how Britney is made out to be the complete bad guy and psycho in this story. Kevin had his share of faults as well and everyone seems to have forgotten who he was before Britney stopped being the stable one in the relationship. That being someone with very little talent that used his wife’s name to get anywhere in a music business that he so desperately wanted to break into. I’m not trying to put all the blame on him either but I just wish people would start to look at the other sides of the story behind these two before deciding that any one party is to blame.

Does K-Fed want Britney Back?

Well ever since rumors of their divorce started, rumors of them getting back together have been floating around but with the recovery that Britney Spears has recently made seems to have had a huge impact on Kevin Federline and apparently, he is falling in love with pop star all over again and wants his family to be reunited. From the Pop Crunch Show,

“Kevin Federline has sparked rumors that wants to reignite the romance with his pop singing ex.

The former couple divorced in 2007, but that hasn’t stopped Federline from trying to put the moves back on Brit, a tabloid spy says.

“Kevin apologized to Britney for his failings as a husband and said he wanted a fresh start,” a source close to the pair reveals to Now Magazine.

“He confessed she’s the love of his life, his soul-mate and was sorry things went so wrong with them.”

Britney, who is preparing to release a new album this December, has reportedly warmed up to the idea of reconciling with her ex-husband for the sake of their sons Sean Preston,3, and Jayden James, 2.

“Getting back with Kevin could be a great move.”

“Brit never got over Kev and she hopes this is the first step towards them reconciling. She knows a lot has happened but at least she now knows he still loves her.”

I hate to say it but I really hope this doesn’t happen. I’m not usually one to hope for parents staying apart but I never think it’s a good idea to only stay together for the children either as this article seems to suggest is Britney’s motivation. I don’t know but it seemed that it was when she became heavily involved with Federline that all of her problems started, beginning with their rushed engagement and wedding. I’m glad that they remain friends and can be a united (and friendly) front with their kids but I think in this case, that’s as good as it gets. Let’s also remember that this source is unnamed and so, we can only hope that as in most anonymous cases, the story is simply not true.
