Silverman Makes a Scene

So today I’ve brought you Avril Lavigne making out in the backseat of a car with Brody Jenner. But Avril wasn’t the only one getting excited while out in public. These pics of Sarah Silverman and some guy that no one seems too interested in, were taken this week while Sarah and her beau were having lunch. I originally saw the story on TMZ and they had footage of Sarah and Nameless Man totally making out at a patio table at a restaurant. Oh yeah, Sarah’s all up on his lap and everything.

While I think it’s bad enough that people find the need to put the fact that they have the hots for each other on such public display totally disgusting, there’s something even more sick about this being in a restaurant, with people trying to eat nearby. And in the TMZ footage, people were putting down their forks to stop and stare. Gross. There’s sweet and “new puppy love” and then there’s just making us be an audience of a show that we have no interest in.

The TMZ website doesn’t seem to have the footage readily available on their website (not that I can find anyway.) Luckily, Drunken Stepfather was there once again to get the goods and catch it all on tape for us! A big thanks to them for it!

Who’s Sucking Face?

Wonder who that couple is, groping each other and making out in the backseat like they’re a couple of teenagers? It’s none other than Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner. Brody was the first really serious relationship that Avril was rumored to have had since her divorce from Deryck Whibley. Even though it seemed Avril and Brody wanted to keep things on the down-low, they were seen out together constantly and always seemed very flirty and happy and like there was something happening there.

Then Avril kept us all guessing when she was seen in the back of a limo with recent ex, Deryck himself. But now it seems, not only has Deryck officially been kicked to the curb, and Brody is definitely the new Sk8er Boi in Avril’s life, but Avril and Brody no longer cares that we know they’re a couple. Seriously though, you’re not teenagers. Get a room.

It’s been a serious week of PDAs in Hollywood this week. But Avril’s is nothing compared to Sarah Silverman’s. Blech. Thanks to Drunken Stepfather for the pic of Avril and Brody heatin’ things up!

What’s Up with Avril and Deryck?

It was all over between Avril Lavigne and her ex-husband, Deryck Whibley in October. But now it seems that there might still be a few things left for Avril and Deryck to discuss. They both went to an Alice in Wonderland after-party the other night and afterwards, it seems that one of them needed a ride because they shared a limo. Now, I’m pretty sure that a movie screening involves tons of celebrities with tons of cars that could have given one of these divorcees a ride.

TMZ captured this photo but they also had some other interesting news to report. Not only was Avril getting some alone time with her ex, but so was Brody Jenner, the pretty boy that Avril has been hooking up with recently. Yep, while Avril and Deryck were taking a joyride, Brody was doing the same thing with his ex, Kristin Cavallari. I guess life doesn’t get easier after marriage. Or after divorce for that matter.

Hookin Up: Avril and Brody!

Avril Lavigne certainly isn’t nursing any broken hearts over her divorce from Deryck Whibley, which was made official in October. Word is getting out that Avril and Brody Jenner, from The Hills, have been dating for at least a few weeks now. But they’ve already started to make their public appearances, so I’d say it’s been a little while longer than that. But from the sounds of it, they both seem to be on the same wavelength and like to have fun together. From E! Online,

“Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner might be Hollywood’s hottest new hookup.
Sources tell E! News that 25-year-old Lavigne and the Hills star have been seeing each other quietly over the last couple weeks.

“They’re hooking up,” an insider said, “but they’re keeping it low-key.”

Not so low-key that they haven’t been seen in public, however. The pair, who both became single late last year, were first spotted at dinner at Koi on Feb. 4. According to a restaurant source, the “Sk8ter Boi” warbler and 26-year-old hunk left together in the same car and drove to club Voyeur.

They were last seen out again on Thursday, back at Voyeur, where they partied all night.

“You can tell they’re into each other and both like to have a good time,” another source says. “They’re cute together.”

This probably won’t last and I have to say, I’d be happy if this was a short fling. It’s going to take big feet to fill the shoes of Deryck Whibley. I just loved him and Avril together so much and I found it quite sad when the two of them broke up. And it surprises me that Avril would go for someone like Brody. He’s just so…pretty. I kind of like the fact that she’s got that tougher look going for her, and I’d like to see her with someone who sort of mirrors that. Someone like hmm…Deryck Whibley.

It’s Official! There will be no Happy Ending for Avril and Deryck

When it came out that Avril Lavigne and her hubby, Deryck Whibley were splitting up, everything was kept very hush-hush. Rumors swirled that Avril was the one to end things by kicking Deryck out of their California home, but it still somehow seemed up in the air whether Avril was actually the one to end things or if it was Deryck. Well, Avril has now officially filed divorce papers so, I think it’s pretty clear who was the one to pull the plug on this relationship. That, combined with the fact that Deryck was reportedly devastated over the split and still loved Avril very much seems to have this one in the bag. But people were still saying that it was a mutual split. Uh-uh. Not so, considering the “special request” that Avril made to the judge at the time of filing. From Star,

“Avril Lavigne, 24, has filed for divorce from her husband, rocker Deryck Whibley of Sum 41, citing “irreconcilable differences,” according to court papers filed in L.A.

She has asked the court to deny spousal support to Deryck, 29. Property rights will be determined later.

The couple announced their separation last month after three years of marriage.”

Yep, telling the judge that she doesn’t want her newfound ex to have a dime of her money tells me that Avril isn’t so happy with Deryck-poo right now. And, as a side note, I’m getting really sick of the ‘irreconcilable differences’ excuse. That just says to me that someone wants out, even if they don’t have a really good reason. I guess that’s what happens when you’re a rock star and marry another rock star way too fast. Even when you don’t really have a good reason to.

Avril and Deryck: Splitsville

Why does everything have to be so complicated? I bet Avril Lavigne is singing her own lyrics right now as it’s been reported that she and her husband of three years, Deryck Whibley have split up. While divorce papers have yet to be filed, reports are that Avril has booted Deryck out of their California home because she’s simply had enough. Enough of what we don’t know. Avril’s reps aren’t making any comments at the moment. But, as we’ve all learned in the past, silence is very telling. And it’s no secret that rumors have been floating around now for some time that these two have been having some problems. According to these same reports however, it was all Avril’s decision and, if Deryck gets his way, the two will be reunited soon. From Dose,

In the latest issue, the mag reports that the pop-punk princess has kicked Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley to the curb. Lavigne, 25, has reportedly told Whibley to move out of their $9.5 million, 12,000-square-feet mansion in L.A.

“She dumped him and told him she was leaving him,” an insider told Us. “She wants to move on.”

Rumours of the split have been circulating for months. In late August, Lavigne was spotted partying sans Whibley in Southampton, enjoying the company of several male admirers — apparently that was a sign of things to come.

Us Weekly’s source claims the filing of divorce papers is imminent and that Whibley is “crushed.” He and Lavigne married in 2006 after two years of dating.”

This split is very sad. Maybe it’s because they were such a young couple who seemed so in love. Or maybe it’s because I really love both of these two as artists so much. Either way, I was really hoping that this was one couple that would beat the odds of Hollywood marriage – especially young Hollywood marriage – and keep laughing and loving each other until old age. I wonder what caused the split. Maybe Avril will start talking and we’ll be able to find out a little more. Or, maybe we’ll get the ‘irreconcilable differences’ excuse and never find out.

Are Avril and Deryck Headed for Splitsville?

This is one story that I really, really hope is not true. Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley, from the band SUM 41, got married some time ago and although they keep a low profile, they have always seemed to be oh-so-happy and the two punksters just seemed to be cut from the same cloth, perfectly suited for each other. Now, it seems that the little green monster may have taken Deryckover as he sees how awesome his wife’s career is and how non-existent his own is. From Digital Spy,

“Avril Lavigne is close to splitting from husband Deryck Whibley, reports say.

According to the National Enquirer, the pair have been growing apart since Lavigne embarked on her world tour earlier this year.

Whibley was recently seen holding the hand of an unknown woman at a nightclub in Los Angeles.

“Deryck isn’t motivated in his own career, so he’s been drinking and partying,” said a source.

Lavigne commented earlier this year that her marriage to Whibley is strong, despite her touring schedule.

“We email and talk on the phone. I’m always on my BlackBerry… He comes out and visits. I was just in Europe and he came out for two weeks at the beginning of the tour and two weeks at the end of the tour,” she said.”

I’m really hoping that this is one story that the Enquirer has wrong. I guess we’ll have to wait and see and it does make me question it a bit that we would just be hearing about this now when supposedly the problems started early in the year. I know they try to stay out of the spotlight but they are still celebrities and no matter how hard they may try, we will always find out. Hopefully, we’ll soon hear about how false this is but beware if you all of a sudden see them out and about looking all cuddly-cozy. That seems to be the major MO lately of stars that are on the road to Splitsville.
