Drake Says He’s Not Dating Rihanna

It seems that the rumor that Aubrey “Drake” Graham and Rihanna are dating, or at least very much enjoying the company of each other’s mouths, really is just a rumor. According to Graham himself, the two did hang out together but the two are nothing more than friends. So, is this the truth or another case of a celebrity couple trying to keep things low-pro at the beginning of a relationship? You decide. From US,

“Despite reports that the star spent Monday night “stealing kisses” from Canadian hip-hop artist Aubrey “Drake” Graham, he denies any romance.
“Nah, nah, nah, it’s not like that at all,” he said in an interview on NYC’s Hot 97 radio station Thursday. “I’m being honest, man. [She's] just a friend. That’s all.”

Rumors that he was dating Chris Brown’s ex began when the New York Post reported that the pair went to NYC’s Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge and stayed at each other’s sides all night until they left together.

Although he confirmed that they did enjoy bowling and drinks together, Graham insisted he and the 21-year-old singer were “just friends” hanging out.

“I have the utmost respect for her,” he said. “I think she’s so talented.”

So are these two dating? I’m thinking not, whether they were engaged in a lip-lock for most of the night or not. I would think that Rihanna would be the type to enjoy her new single status for a little while, especially after the volatile way her last relationship ended. But Rihanna has proven that she is a bag of surprises so who knows - typical behavior is not to be expected here.

Rihanna is trying to leave Chris Brown in her past. First he beat the crap out of her and then hooked up with several different women - over which it was said, Rihanna was devastated. But she has quickly dried her tears and found her own man to hook up with - little known Aubrey “Drake” Graham. If he wasn’t that famous before, hooking up with RiRi sure is a great way to get his name on the map as he’s now walked into one of the biggest love triangles - and legal battle - of the year. Hope he’s up for all of it but for now it seems, he is only focused on his new lady. From People, 

“After quietly continuing to see Brown after the alleged altercation between them in February, Rihanna stepped out with a new guy on Monday night in N.Y.C., a source tells PEOPLE.

Rihanna, 21, stopped by Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge with 10 pals for some bowling, drinks and plenty of PDA with Canadian hip-hop artist Aubrey “Drake” Graham, says a source, adding that the singer, who was “absolutely glowing,” sipped whiskey and apple juice while staying close to Graham.

“The two of them were stealing kisses here and there the whole night,” says the source.

The singer’s group danced until midnight, when the new pair left together. “They were very cute. Both of them were in really good spirits [and] she was having a great time,” adds the source.”

People also went on to say that Graham is a protege of Lil Wayne so we’ll most likely be seeing him for more than just his current relationship status. So is Graham really the one to piece Rihanna back together or is this just one of many rebounds that are sure to come? I don’t really think it’s either. If the two are into each other, I think it’s probably for real but I also see RiRi as being a little bit of a player now that she’s unattached. I think that girl is going to break many hearts before she finds someone she wants to be with long-term. And then we just have to hope that he doesn’t beat her!
