Amy Adams Has a Baby Girl!

Yay! I’m so excited about this!! After months and months of watching Amy Adams’ growing baby bump, she’s delivered a beautiful baby girl over this past weekend! There are actually quite a few details that we have so far, including that baby Aviana Olea Legallo weighed exactly 7 pounds when she was born, and that both mommy and baby are doing very well and they’re both perfectly healthy.

Hopefully Amy had time during her pregnancy to make all those wedding plans for her nuptials with Darren Legallo, who she got engaged to just as she was finishing filming on the fabulous movie Julie & Julia. During her pregnancy she was always talking about how she was making both baby plans and wedding plans, but no doubt she doesn’t have time to think about tulle and flowers now! Not with pretty little Aviana to take care of! I am so, so happy for Amy! I truly fell in love with her the first time I watched the foodie movie and now, I’m a fan forever!

Congratulations Amy and Darren! Hopefully we’ll get to see baby (and wedding) pictures very, very soon!

Bump Watch: Amy Adams

Oh, I’m so happy that today is about happiness and excitement rather than doom and divorce, like yesterday’s headlines seemed to be. First we had Jessica Alba spending some quality time with her family and here we have Amy Adams, on her way to her baby shower and looking big and beautiful! Amy’s always beautiful no matter whether she’s pregnant or not but she is truly stunning and radiant here. You can just see how much joy and love she has in her life right now, and how very happy she is. Thank you, Amy! Thank you for showing us that there is still happiness out there – and even right in Hollywood!

Amy has kept very quiet about when her little one is due, but it’s quite clear that the little bundle is due any day!

Bump Watch: Amy Adams

I’m really developing a soft spot for Amy Adams. At first I thought she was just another starlet that would pop up on the big screen, appear with one or two big names, and then fade out into the background. But then I watched Julie & Julia and realized that this girl has got a reason to show us that we need to pay a little more attention! She really is too cute for words and while she’s pregnant and glowing, we managed to grab a pic of her as well as some excerpts on what she’s craving during her pregnancy. No pickles and ice cream here. It’s bare-chested men, cat naps, and well, cookies. From Celebrity Dirty Laundry,

“Via Popeater with a baby on the way, ‘Leap Year’ actress Amy Adams says she is doing “pretty good.” “I’m surprised how tired I get. I’ve learned that when you get tired, you need to lie down and have a cookie,” she tells PopEater.

And when she’s resting, she can’t help but watch ‘Law and Order: SVU’ marathons. “Even if you know you’ve seen the episode before, you know at some point Chris Meloni is going to take his shirt off and that’s always good,” Adams adds.”

See? She’s just too cute. And she’s really the only reason why I have any interest in seeing Leap Year. I have to admit, that one’s probably going to be a rental for me. But I’m sure I’ll enjoy Amy’s performance in it. The movie is already out in theaters and Amy’s baby is due in the spring. Congrats again!

Amy Adams is Pregnant

US is reporting that Amy Adams, who played Julie in Julie & Julia, is expecting her first baby with her fiance, Darren Legallo. I’m not a huge, huge fan of Amy Adams but I do like her and I still really need to see Julie & Julia (which by the way, was available on Blu-Ray and DVD today.) She and Darren have been dating for seven years and just got engaged last year. There’s something I love about couples that are together for a long time before they have kids or make major steps. I think it just gives me hope when Hollywood is not usually a place for true love to blossom. There’s no word yet on how far along Amy is or when she’s due but we’ll keep ya posted. And in the meantime, get ready for some great Bump Watches on Amy. Ooohh…I haven’t been able to do a Bump Watch in awhile! That in itself is exciting! Who doesn’t love watching a woman through her pregnancy? Especially when that woman is wearing designer maternity wear?
