It seems as though the trend of having babies is over in Hollywood, with only a few bumps poking out here and there but two have been seen making their rounds as Alyson Hannigan and Nicole Richie have both been seen with their tummies proudly stickin out. I have to say that the two are sporting very different looks and I’m kinda diggin Alyson’s way more. She seems to be very ‘I’m just so happy to be pregnant with my Jamba Juice’ while Nicole Richie seems to be very ‘It’s unfortunate that I”m wearing a curtain when I’m trying to set maternity wear trends.’ I thought Nicole looked amazing throughout her entire pregnancy with Harlow and maybe this is just a bad pic but she just looks like she’s been partying too hard the night before or something (which we know she wouldn’t be doing.) Maybe it’s tiring to be pregnant with a 1-year-old at home. I get that too. But I still think Alyson looks better between these two pics.

Alyson Hannigan has the Mum-Dumbs

Alyson Hannigan, the girl that we all fell in love with on American Pie and now watch every week on How I Met Your Mother is pregnant and has sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to talk about her first pregnancy. She touched on everything from her food cravings to the mum-dumbs, which any new mom will tell you is when your brain has seemingly left your body completely and you have no idea what’s going on except that you are gestating. It’s true, it’s a real thing and it’s super irritating! From Contact Music,

“AMERICAN PIE star ALYSON HANNIGAN is worried her pregnancy is starting to affect her brain - her hormones have left her feeling like a “stoned Koala bear”. The 34-year-old actress is expecting her first child with husband Alexis Denisof and is experiencing a variety of unusual food cravings.
But the star is adamant that the worst symptom of pregnancy is the effect it has on her concentration.
She tells TV host Ellen DeGeneres, “I get tired a lot and I have pregnancy brain, which I never realised was a thing but it is. I sort of feel like a Koala bear where I’m slightly stoned all the time and I’ll say the wrong word.
“(I crave) ginger ale big time. I didn’t drink soda before and suddenly it was like, ‘I need a ginger ale,’ and surprisingly my mother craved ginger ale when she was pregnant with me as well.”
And Hannigan admits that the couple recently found out the sex of the baby, but won’t be making the news public.
She adds, “We’re just not announcing to the world. It seems a little personal.”

I just recently found out that Hannigan was even pregnant so it’s been fun for me to watch how they hide it on HIMYM. I really like Alyson and I think she’s super funny. The baby is due in the spring and so hopefully, she won’t be gone from the show for too long, or maybe not at all after taking the summer off. Congratulations to her and her husband, Alexis.
