Kate Hudson will be single for awhile

And I for one, am glad to hear it. It’s no secret that Kate Hudson likes to have a nice piece of man-candy on her arm at all times and this year alone she has been linked to her former love, Owen Wilson, has sparked rumors that she was playing with fire with Alex Rodriguez and even kept us all guessing as to whether or not she was getting back together with her ex, Chris Robinson, who is also the father of her son, Ryder. But Kate graces the cover of In Style and talks about how she’s single right now and plans to stay that way for a little while at least. Thank gawd! From Celebrity Baby Scoop,

“I’m actually enjoying being single right now because I really never have been. I feel good in relationships,” says the 29-year-old actress. “I enjoy them, so I feel my best when I’m in something solid. But it’s also the first time I’ve ever taken a step back and gotten a new perspective. So, I’ve made a conscious decision to try to stay single as long as possible.”
Stating that she “plans to take a break next year” so she can spend more time with her son, she said,

“When he climbs into bed with me, wraps his arms around me and says, ‘Mommy, the sun’s up! It’s a beautiful morning!’ I’m sorry, do I really want to go to work then?” she asks. “No!”

I really like Kate Hudson and one reason for that is because she seems to be such a strong woman and I think that by taking a little break from her love life, she may even just become that much stronger, or at least appear that way to those who see her as just a bed-hopper. And if cute little Ryder gets even more Mommy-time out of it, there’s nuthin wrong with that!

This whole divorce has made me realize how truly ugly of a person Madonna is. It actually pains me a little to say that because I, like so many other people, grew up looooving Madonna. I loved the fact that she represented everything my mom hated and I loved the fact that she was always so on the cutting edge that it was impossible for anyone to keep up with her. But I really can do without this Kabbalah maniac who has turned out to not only be an adulteress but also someone that is very, very greedy. We all know how angry that she was when she heard that Ritchie wanted claims to her fortune during the divorce but never once did we see her come out publicly and admit that Ritchie’s actions were admirable when he forfeited it all to share custody with their kids. I can understand not wanting to speak to the media all the time but if you’re going to talk to them about what a greedy bastard he is, you better be prepared to come out and give him credit when it’s due! But it seems that Ritchie won’t be walking away with only the hands of his small children in his own, as he reportedly got a whopping $32 million pounds and the keys to their lovely estate in London- a small price for someone who had to wake up beside Madge every day for eight years - and let’s not forget that contract that he had to review daily to make sure that he was keeping up on being a ‘good husband.’ From Minor Matters,

But apparently, Madonna has found a way to get back that money - well, at least some of it. She’s claiming that an interior designer that decorated her home in The Hills took some thing else of extreme value as they were clearing out the clutter - Madonna and Guy’s wedding photos. They were never published (must have been before Madge turned out to be a sell-out) and it’s not hard to see how very pricey those pics could be today with all the news surrounding this couple. As much as I dislike Madonna, if this story is true, I really do hope that she does win the case. Wedding pictures are so extremely personal and if she didn’t want them published, she didn’t want them published. End of story. From Contact Music,

“The Mail on Sunday is facing a multimillion pound lawsuit from Madonna over its publication of her wedding photographs.

The high court in London heard today that the singer is claiming more then £5 million in damages over pictures copied “surreptitiously” by an interior designer during work at her home in Beverly Hills, California.

No photos of Madonna’s 2000 marriage to Guy Ritchie had ever been published until October 19th this year when the newspaper printed 11 pictures on its front page and in a double-page spread.

He said his client was seeking “in excess of £5 million, being the estimated value of the photographs”.

Mr Justice Eady, presiding, has entered judgement in Madonna’s favour on the issue of liability.”

And of course, who can talk about Madonna without talking about the homewrecker Alex Rodriguez - who wrecked not one but two, count em two homes! Well, I guess if you’re gonna go, go big. His recent statements about his courtship with Madge actually have him denying the whole thing! BAHAHAHAHAHA! Can I just ask - what is the point now? It’s so clearly obvious that these two are sleeping together and while I’m positive that not everything written about these two is true, I’m just as positive that the fact they are sleeping together is true. Again, all I can say about this story is that it’s always nice when the stars provide us with a little comic relief to brighten up our day. Alex really must be as stupid as he looks!

The Thanksgiving Day Charade is Over!

Alex Rodriguez did spend a wee bit of time with his family this Thanksgiving but make no mistake about it. He wasn’t there much longer than to have the few photos snapped by the paps before he was running back to the withered and bony arms of Madonna. He was seen at her concert on Wednesday in Miami and not only did the once-diva sing a love song to him but he handed her a bottle of water while she was on-stage, making his appearance very known. Then the next day on Thanksgiving morning, he spent the obligatory time with his family and then headed back to Madge’s where things got very twisted indeed. If you thought the whole Madonna/Guy Ritchie/A-Rod/Cynthia story was a mess before, enter Gwyneth Paltrow and the man with whom she is having a torrid affair. By the way, Gwyn is Madge’s BFF. “That night, Alex and Madonna were spotted partying with bachelor billionaire Jeff Soffer and his new affair Gwyneth Paltrow. There’s just nothing about this story that is right! I don’t understand why the big charade with A-Rod’s family on Thursday, when clearly they were only being sandwiched between his time with Madonna. Andy why would Cynthia ever just sit back and let that happen? Oh it’s okay if you just come for an hour or two and then leave me and the kids to go be with your mistress. I know that they’ve already been divorced but really, why allow yourself to be photographed as one big happy family when you know he’s looking at his watch the whole time? And then this whole Paltrow thing comes out of nowhere! It will definitely be interesting to hear more on that! It doesn’t seem as though it will take long. This whole thing has gotten so incredibly messy and ridiculous and no one seems to have any shame when it comes to exposing their own deep, dark secrets.

Well I guess Madonna’s name is still good for something because she has been granted a quick divorce from her very-soon-to-be-ex husband, Guy Ritchie. I think other than the fact that this very smart judge realized that the entire world wanted to stop hearing about these two, the divorce was granted so quickly because really, all Ritchie wanted was to see his kids and he let Madonna keep her wealth. Simple, as it should be I guess. Although I’m sure there’s some Kabbalah contract Madonna had drawn up and forced Ritchie to sign under hypnosis as he pricked his finger but we’ll hear about that later, I’m sure. For now, these are the official details being leaked by Celebrity Dirty Laundry,

“Madonna and Guy Ritchie have been granted a preliminary decree of divorce. After six weeks and a day, the divorce can become final. Neither appeared at Friday’s brief court session in which a judge granted decrees to 17 couples.
British news media reported, without identifying the sources of their information, that the celebrity couple had reached a settlement that would see the pop superstar keep the majority of her estimated $445 million fortune with Guy.

Reports in the Evening Standard and the Times of London said the couple had also reached a deal regarding their two children: Rocco, 8, and David Banda, 3, who was adopted from Malawi in 2006. The newspapers said the two boys will split their time between Britain and the United States, while Lourdes—Madonna’s 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship with personal trainer Carlos Leon—will live with her mother in America.”

So now it seems that instead of talking about these two together, we’ll most likely start talking about Madonna chasing down Kate Hudson, chasing down Alex Rodriguez, and Guy Ritchie is likely to fall off the face of the earth.

Get Ready for a Cat Fight!

It seems as though both Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez want to test the wrath of Madonna. The two were both at the same huge event, the opening of the Fontainebleu Hotel in Miami and they, well at least Kate, was hoping to take things to a whole new level. From the sounds of it, she was getting just a little too friendly with A-Rod and even though Madge had sent ‘people’ to protect her man from any such thing, they simply weren’t enough to keep the blonde bombshell Hudson away. Oh, things are about to turn REALLY ugly! I don’t even understand why Madonna had to send her girlfriend to keep an eye on Rodriguez. I guess those rumors about her being a control freak really are true. But still, it’s just so twisted that if Alex knew what he was doing, he would run, run, run, as fast as he can! Yep, these are the prime makings of a cat fight! There was a point in time when I would have really thought that Hudson would be no match for Madonna. Remember when the Material Girl really was toned and buff and looking super hot? But now that Madonna has become a withered shell of her former self, I totally think Kate could kick her ass. And I’d love to see it! You go, Kate! Steal that man from right under her nose! Just beware of any Kabbalah hexes, curses, or chants that come your way!

Why are People Shocked About This?

So now that they have officially announced that they are getting divorced, Guy Ritchie and Madonna are now ensuing in a very public battle, with insults being hurled and accusations being made. All the while of course, she’s sleeping with Alex Rodriguez and he’s sleeping with one of the stars from the Sherlock Holmes movie he’s directing, Kelly Reilly. What’s really sad is that their kids, Lourdes, Rocco, and David, who are the only innocent ones in all of this, watch and learn how you behave you you’re mad at someone. Honestly, I don’t think who Madonna thinks she is - well okay, she’s Madonna - but this behavior of hers is not acceptable for anybody. From US,

I don’t know why people are so shocked that this divorce is turning way, way ugly. It might have been a clue when she hired the same divorce lawyer who handled Paul McCartney’s divorce from Heather Mills that she meant business and that she was going to use every trick in the book, including these smear campaigns. What makes it really bad is the fact that she was cheating and screwing around on Ritchie for months and months and then acts as if we’re all supposed to fall all over ourselves to sing her praises. Yep, at one time she was certainly the Queen of Pop, sitting on her throne and was adored by many but she’s continuing to show herself as exactly what Ritchie called her - old, ugly, and wrinkled.

Madonna Makes me Ill

Yep, this is another celebrity that I used to love, love, love but her recent actions have made me just about despise this woman. Madonna first announces in March that she most likely will get divorced but wants her tour to play out and make all the money she can off it first. This is a fact that everyone seems to keep forgetting. She then drags out this farce of a marriage, all the while sleeping with Alex Rodriguez, and then is angry at soon-to-be ex-husband, Guy Ritchie, for apparently being a ‘gold digger.’ From Stuff.co.nz,

First of all, HE’S NOT A GOLD DIGGER!!! Madonna has more money than God and it seems that Guy will walk away from the divorce with a measly $20 million. Not chump change for most of us, sure but come on! This is Madge herself and she could stand to lose a lot more - I think someone from her own camp said somewhere around the $300 million mark, didn’t they, which generally speaking in ‘normal’ divorces would entitle him to about $150 million, right? Yeah, that’s half. I don’t think Madonna is in any way losing her shirt over this and for what she has caused him over the course of the past several months, I can only wish that he makes out with more.

I’m just so over Madonna. I used to hold her in high regard, as one of the hardest-working and most respectable artists out there but these latest few moves she has made has really dropped her in my eyes. She used to be so good at using the media to her advantage and constantly pushing the envelope but this just isn’t it. This is being ‘cutting-edge’ or ‘hip’! It’s being selfish and destructive and is making her appear really juvenile. Apparently, this is going to be one ugly divorce and as I said earlier, I really hope that Guy gets it all and that Madge and A-Rod fall off the planet.

Alex Rodriguez has Been a Busy Boy!

The news broke this past summer that the heat and steam in the air was more than just the humidity when rumors started to circulate that Madonna was having an affair with Alex Rodriguez. They were both married at the time and the rumors stated that Madonna was seen at Yankees games, there to cheer on her beau, and that Alex was spending a whole lot of time at the pop superstar’s apartment in New York - and that most often, these visits were very late at night. Reps from Madonna’s camp vehemently denied the rumors, although Alex’s people seemed to suddenly become very close-mouthed. Perhaps that’s because they knew that a divorce was in his near future anyway as it was reported by US at the end of September that the divorce between Alex and his wife, Cynthia Rodriguez had not only started but it had already been finalized. And boy, oh boy, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned! Check out what she asked for as stated by US and then what she actually got from Alex,

“In her petition, Cynthia requested the couple’s $12 million waterfront estate in Coral Gables, Fla., and “equitable distribution” of all assets acquired during the marriage (Alex reportedly made $28 million this season).

She also demanded alimony and child support for their daughters, Natasha, 3, and Ella, five months, and enough to pay for private schools so she and their two daughters can maintain the “high standard of living” they’re used to.

Alex had countered that he was only willing to give her what was required in their pre-nup and threatened to make her pay his legal fees if she challenged and lost.”

Ya know, even though I think he’s a cheater and a pig, I’m glad that he stuck to his guns on the money issue. It’s crappy that she got burned and will forever change the lives of everyone in their family - but really. I hate it when ex-spouses claim that they need to “maintain the style of living they’ve become accustomed to.” Get over it - it’s done, this is what not being married anymore means. You have a prenup for a reason and it’s clear that that’s all you’re ever going to see.

And it seems that he was eager to get back into the Material Girl’s arms because it was reported just this last week that he and Madonna met up for a romantic dinner. Also reported by US,

“Madonna and New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez took in a cozy dinner for two at Dos Caminos Third Avenue on Tuesday, a source told Usmagazine.com.

They pair ate at an alcove-like table in the back.

“They seemed very close,” a source told Usmagazine.com.

Cynthia’s attorney, Earle Lilly, told Us that Rodriguez had an “affair of the heart” with Madonna.

In July - after more than four years of marriage - Cynthia filed for divorce, citing her husband’s alleged infidelity.”

When news of the alleged affair broke, Madonna and husband, Guy Ritchie tried desperately to make a point of appearing around town looking like the picture-perfect happy couple. However, this contradicted rumors that the two were planning a divorce for this fall. Which would be now. And it seems those rumors may have been true as both Madonna and Guy have supposedly started talking to divorce lawyers. Madonna is said to be seeing the same one that walked Sir Paul McCartney through his awful legal battle.

An Update in the Madonna Scandal

With all of the news and scandal already out about Madonna and the break-up of her marriage (which only she seems to be denying), it has now been revealed that another baseball player wants in on the action. That someone would be one Mr. Jose Canseco. He claims that during the early nineties, Madonna wanted to have his baby! From iVillage,

“She wanted to get married and have a child with me — she wanted a Cuban child,” he said.: “We went downstairs [at her house in the Hollywood Hills] and she came over and said, ‘What would you do if I kissed you?’ and then sat on my lap and kissed me.”

The baller said that, when he told Madge that he was trying to work things out with his wife, and that he could lose a lot of money if they divorced, “She said, ‘I have lots of money. Don’t worry about that.”

Jose says that, ultimately, he ended the relationship with Madonna — without ever having sex with her. Keep in mind that Jose hates Madonna’s latest, Alex Rodriguez, because Alex supposedly hit on Jose’s wife once.”

Is this a pissing contest between Canseco and Rodriguez or was Madonna really after some of those good genes and athletic physique? Who knows but this whole story is getting older and more ridiculous by the second. The only sane one in this whole entire thing seems to be Cynthia Rodriguez, Alex’s ex. She has spoken out about her impending divorce with her hubby and reminds us all that while it may be enjoyable to read and blog about, this is a real thing happening to real people. She also denies reports that she has been canoodling with Lenny Kravitz and blowing thousands of dollars on shopping sprees just so she can stick it to Alex. People reports her as saying,

“Not one word of those stories is true,” said Rodriguez. “I never before in all my married life together ever went away without my husband or family. Not once in 13 years.”

“I did not spend one dollar shopping in Paris,” she continued. “I did not go to super-fancy expensive restaurants. I did not go to any spa. I didn’t do one thing. I spent the most innocent four days with my children’s godparents, who are as close to us as family. My husband and I were already into our problems and I didn’t know where to go, what to do. I needed to think. To clear my head.”

Rodriguez added that her family is very upset by the split. “Mine’s a close-knit family,” she said. “Never one divorce on my side. My parents, aunts, uncles are devastated.”

How can you not feel for this women who has put up with years of scandal and has finally cracked under the pressure. Well that and the fact that her husband’s sleeping with someone else.

Rodriguez goes the way of Brinkley

Ya gotta love the women of Hollywood these days. They get burned and they let it be known that they are woman and you will hear them roar. FIrst Christie Brinkley drags out all the ugly details of her husband’s affair in court and now Cynthia Rodriguez finds a man who will truly appreciate her. After speculation about an affair happening between her husband, Alex Rodriguez and Madonna, she has filed for divorce and just happened to find comfort in the arms of one Mr. Lenny Kravitz.
