Why I Hate Megan Fox: Reason #347

Ooohh, I hate Megan Fox. Really a lot, I can’t stand Megan Fox. Every time she opens her mouth, trash falls out. And most of the time, she doesn’t even have any reason for saying it. She tries to get points across using vulgar and unnecessary expressions. And while I’m not one to be prudish, she thinks she stands among the classy women of Hollywood. When really she’s so far on the other side, it makes me a little bit sick. Add to top it all off, she pulls Brian Austin Green along with her, only to flick him away when she’s bored and then pull him back in. Even when she’s with him she can’t find any way to say something nice about him. As is the case with her latest interview.

In her interview that appears in the newest issue Cosmo, that’s also decorated so she leers out at you, Fox talks about diarrhea, vaginas, oh and let’s not forget how awesome it is to always win when you’re a woman. She touches on it all. From Cosmo via Celebitchy,

On being able to count the number of guys she’s gotten naked in front of on one hand: “I never call them guys. I always called them boys. Maybe it’s a superiority complex–my needing to keep them down.”

On women having the power in a het relationship: “Women hold the power because we have the vaginas. If you’re in a heterosexual relationship and you’re a female, you win.”

On being a firm believer in monogamy: “I have no problem with commitment–you can’t have a real relationship without it. I can flip on a switch in my brain, and even if the next Brad Pitt is standing next to me, I won’t look at him. but I can also turn that switch of, and then I collect attractive boys.” (She’s currently dating Brian Austin Green.)

On not going for the typical Hollywood types: “It’s fun when someone intends to put you in his back pocket, but instead, he walks away wounded. I make it a mind game so they don’t know if I’m hitting on them or mocking them. Male actors drop lines about their private jets, trying to seem powerful, but I don’t give a s—. I don’t need someone else’s power. I’m obtaining my own.”

I do like the part about obtaining her own power. But the rest of it is so bad that it totally overshadows that small, nice line at the end. And I don’t understand the part about flipping off the switch and collecting attractive boys. I’m sure that has to make Brian Austin Green feel good, being part of a collection. And I guess this also means that the two are currently back together. For now anyway. Ugh! I’m so done with thinking about Megan Fox!

Are Nick and Vanessa Back Together?

So, are they? Aren’t they? Do we care? I never really understood why Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo breaking up was such a ’shocker’ or why anyone cared so much. I realize they were together for a long time but, it’s Nick Lachey for cryin’ out loud! Why our we still talking about him? Apparently, some people still care. So here goes.

In June, Nick and Vanessa broke up. Just days after, Vanessa was seen with Topher Grace and there were rumors floating around that the two had already hooked up. Apparently, that’s either not the case or Vanessa and Nick have decided to not get back together, but still get in some smooch time. Just recently they were seen together at a nightclub and they had trouble controlling themselves around each other in public. From Gossip Center,

“They decided to part ways this summer after a three-year-long romance, and now it seems that Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are giving their love another try.

According to a report, the former “Newlyweds” stud and his former MTV veejay were spotted making out at The Dime, a Los Angeles nightclub.

An eyewitness revealed, “They were making-out in one of the booths and seemed totally into one another. They were having a great time and definitely appeared to be back on. They didn’t care who saw them.”

Another bar patron told press that Nick and Vanessa were only there for 20 minutes before Miss Minnillo began crawling all over Lachey. Perhaps this time it will last.”

Okay, ewww. I don’t really care if they’re back together. And I care even less if it will last. What I do have a problem with is people crawling all over their ex-boyfriends while in a nightclub booth. It’s not a bedroom, people. Other people can see you. Ew, like I said.

Kelly Preston Still in Deep Mourning

It’s a very sad news day today, as first we learned of DJ AM’s death and now we hear a sad story of how Kelly Preston is not yet ready to appear in public. Preston, the mother of Jett Travolta, who died in January in their home in the Bahamas, was due to speak at an event but has had to back out. Kelly is just not yet ready to speak publicly about losing her son and dealing with her grief. It just once again makes us so sad at the memory of that terrible story. And it also makes us realize that although the Travolta family may not be on the cover of every magazine any more, and while the story may seem ‘old’ to some, it’s something they’re all still dealing with every single day. “Kelly Preston is not ready to speak publicly about the death of her 16-year-old son Jett, who passed away earlier this year at the family’s home in the Bahamas.
Preston has withdrawn from California First Lady Maria Shriver’s California Governor’s Conference for Women in Long Beach this October. The wife of John Travolta was due to speak on the “Grief & Resilience” panel.

“It is with my sincere apologies that I must pull out from speaking at [the] conference. I am sorry, but I truly believed that I could do it,” Preston said in a statement to PEOPLE Friday. “Otherwise I never would have said that I could. But I am still deeply in the process of healing, and it’s just too soon.”

I don’t think anyone would begrudge Kelly, or anyone else dealing with such a tragic loss, for taking care of themselves and their family right now. Again, our hearts go out to Kelly, John, and the rest of the family as they continue to heal.

DJ AM Found Dead Yesterday

This news is so shocking and so sad for me, I don’t really even know where to begin. TMZ was the first to report that DJ AM was found dead in his apartment yesterday. It’s always so shocking when young people die, and when they die so unexpectedly, it just makes it even more sad. But I think what’s most shocking about this story is that DJ AM cheated death not even a year ago after surviving a plane crash that killed 4 other people. So many thoughts run through your head when you hear this story. Especially after you hear that it was most likely a drug overdose that killed him. Crack pipes and prescription pills were found in his apartment, along with the talented and already so missed DJ. TMZ originally had very few details but this is what was posted on the site,

“DJ AM’s body was removed from his New York City apartment late Friday evening. Sources tell TMZ he was pronounced dead at 6:00 PM Friday — prescription pill bottles and a crack pipe were found in the apartment.”

As it turns out, this may be the first time it ended in tragedy for DJ AM, but it’s not the first time he tried to take his own life. Long before he even thought of any plane crashes, when he was only 24, he put a gun into his mouth and pulled the trigger. The gun didn’t go off. Then coming away from that plane crash just last fall, it makes you wonder if that also had something to do with it. You’ve got to be thinking, “Thank God I lived!” But at the same time, you’re also wondering, “Why?” Makes sense to me and apparently, to DJ AM, who was already struggling with depression issues, it was too much of a reality. This is what People has to say about the troubled life of DJ AM,

“The death of the deejay, 36, brings to a close the life of a tremendously talented – but troubled – individual who, as it so happens, had cheated death on numerous occasions.

Born Adam Goldstein, the Pennsylvania native’s struggles began at a young age in Philadelphia, where he was raised by his mother Andrea, and a father “who seemed to hate me,” he told Glamour in January 2008. “The verbal abuse he subjected me to was unbelievably cruel. I would find out later that there was a good reason my father was so tortured – he was secretly gay and addicted to drugs.”

The tumultuous upbringing took its toll: struggling with depression, Goldstein first turned to drugs at 12; his first visit to a rehabilitation center came when he was 17.

Goldstein also developed a habit of overeating, and, in his early 20s, was tipping the scales at nearly 300 lbs.

Despite his considerable success spinning on the party circuit in Los Angeles, the deejay hit a low point at 24 when, after a night of cocaine, he loaded a .22 gun and tried to kill himself. “I sat back on my heels, cocked it and put it in my mouth,” he told “Glamour”. “Then I squinted my eyes and said, ‘F–k this.’ I pulled the trigger.” The gun, he says, didn’t go off.

Following his suicide attempt, Goldstein went sober with the help of friends in recovery meetings, and got sober – and after his 30th birthday lost 155 lbs. by undergoing gastric bypass surgery. At a Television Critics’ Association panel in Pasadena July 29, while he was promoting his upcoming MTV series, Gone Too Far, Goldstein announced, “I’ve been a recovering addict for 11 years.”

Still, as might be imagined, the the horrific 2008 plane crash rattled the recovering addict. In December 2008, wen he filed a lawsuit against the aircraft manufacturer, he explained he was seeking damages for “pain, suffering, mental anguish, psychological and emotional distress, disfigurement and pre-impact fear of death and burning.”

His recovery offered several revelations. Among them: while in the hospital being treated for burns, he learned of a potentially fatal blood clot that, he said, “could have traveled to my heart and I could have died.”

“There’s no reason why I should have lived or I lived and they didn’t,” he said in July. “And it’s something I struggle with every day.”

Like I said, there’s really so much sad to this story that it’s hard to know where to begin. Our thoughts go out to everyone who are grieving this very sad loss. And I’m sure as time goes on, we’ll hear even more about DJ AM and what happened to have it end in such tragedy.

Kristen Stewart is Just a Little Bit Sensitive

A lot of people hate Kristen Stewart. A lot. Really, really a lot. I’m not actually one of those people. I really like her in the Twilight series and I really like her as an actress in general. But her latest quote has me scratching my head a bit. In it she talks about the love triangle that’s ever-present in New Moon between Bella, Edward, and Jacob. It’s by far one of the things that makes the book so great and one of the reasons why I will always, always love Jacob. And while love triangles usually end with someone getting hurt, I hope people realize it’s just a book. Or in this case, soon to be released as a movie. For Kristen Stewart, that’s just not the case. She seems to have taken it quite personally and had a really hard time with it. From People,

“Kristen Stewart doesn’t take break-ups lightly – even those on film.

“Everything in our movie, it’s such a heightened version of reality,” the Twilight star, 19, tells MTV News. “People don’t just break up [in the films] – they break up and it literally kills you. It’s not like you just say, ‘Oh, I’m really depressed and crying.’ I always had a really hard time figuring out, ‘Am I doing enough? Do I look like I’m going to die?’ ”

Stewart, whose character Bella finds herself in a love triangle with Jacob (played by Taylor Lautner) and Edward (Robert Pattinson), says she struggled when she had to film a specific scene for the sequel New Moon.

“My favorite line in the book is when I have to say to [Jacob], ‘It’s him; it’s always been him!’ ” says the actress. “Yeah, it killed me. It killed me.”

“[New Moon] is very complicated,” adds Lautner, 17. “There’s a lot of heartbreak, there’s a lot of things going on.”

“Edward leaves at the beginning, [Bella] goes into this depression, I come to try and bring her out of it. Then I go through my own issues, and then she leaves me,” he reveals. “It’s all over the place.”

Yes, movie breakups are usually way more intense than real-life breakups. But everything in the Twilight series is way more intense than real life. And way more intense than many other books I’ve read, I might add. But, it’s a movie for cryin’ out loud! Isn’t Kristen Stewart supposed to be a professional actress? Aren’t these things really not supposed to affect her, as a person, so much? I’m glad to see that she’s so passionate about her character and really throwing herself into it. But, seriously. Get a grip.

The Woman Beater Gets Some Punishment After All

I was so happy to read that Chris Brown will get some sort of punishment after all for beating Rihanna back in February. I really thought that the courts were going to give him a slap on the wrist and that would be the end of it. And when Rihanna herself looked as though she was back in contact, or at least trying to get back in contact with him, I really had lost all hope that Brown would see any ramifications from the incident.

But it seems that even if Rihanna does want to talk to Chris, the courts aren’t going to let her. Among other things, Chris was sentenced to 5 Rihanna-less years. 5 years where he won’t be able to talk to the Umbrella singer or get messages to her through someone else. I’m breathing a huge sigh of relief on this one! And thankfully someone in the justice system is smart enough to find those ‘third party’ loopholes. So Chris can’t weasel his way out of this one! “Chris Brown was formally sentenced Tuesday to five years’ probation for beating Rihanna. He also was ordered to complete 180 days community labor to be personally supervised by the chief of police in Brown’s hometown of Richmond, Va.

He must personally come to court every three months during his probation. The first appearance will be Nov. 19.

Brown, 20, also must complete a 52-week domestic violence program sponsored by the Commonwealth Catholic in Richmond.

He was ordered not to contact Rihanna (including by phone or through a third person) for the next five years. He also must stay 100 yards from her, unless they are both at an entertainment-related event, in which he must stay 10 yards away.

In addition, Brown is subject to search and seizure 24/7 for the next five years and cannot own any dangerous weapon, including guns or knives, according to TMZ.

He must pay $2,500 in restitution, in addition to $2,500 in probation expenses.

At Tuesday’s hearing, Brown appeared solemn as he verbally stated he understood and accepted the terms of the probation.”

None of this is enough but at least it’s something. And it keeps Chris and Rihanna away from each other, which is also a pretty BIG something! Not that any of us were unaware of this either but Star is also reporting that Chris and Rihanna had a past history of violence. It seems there was one incident when the two got into a fight and Rihanna was pushed into a wall. And another time, Chris blew his top and smashed out the front and passenger windows of a car. Too late to do anything about it now in Rihanna’s case but hopefully this is a lesson for other young girls. If a man is violent, it’s only going to get worse. It never gets better.

Britney Gets Some Hang Time with her Kids

On a slow news day, it’s also a slow and relaxing day for Britney Spears. She’s been seen toting around her two little ones just about everywhere in New York. Mostly, they were seen taking in the Broadway show The Little Mermaid and the next day they were seen taking a ride through Central Park in a pedicab. I think you can tell more and more that Britney is back to good health as she now seems to actually be enjoying her children, instead of just trying not to accidentally kill them. I’ll take these stories over the ones of children falling out of high chairs and being locked in bathrooms any day of the week and twice on Sundays! Good to see you’re back, Brit! She goes back to her own stage life tonight, as she gears up to keep on with the Circus tour tonight at Madison Square Gardens.

Jen Only has Eyes for Gerald

I’m so sick of this whole thing between Jennifer Aniston, Bradley Cooper, and Gerald Butler. Oh yeah, and let’s not forget Renee Zellweger either. I don’t have the time or the energy to rehash the whole entire saga but last we heard on Jen’s side of things, was that she was ’secretly dating’ Bradley Cooper. This came just days before he was spotted with Renee in Spain. Well apparently, Renee and Bradley can be a couple all they want because Jen is dating Gerald. And if they’re not actually dating yet, they’re both seriously thinking about it. From People,

“Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler were seen “hand in hand” this weekend at The Jane Hotel in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District, a source tells PEOPLE. The two are currently filming The Bounty in New York City.

“Jen and Gerry went out on Saturday night,” says the source, who, noting that the cozy couple were surrounded by such others as Kirsten Dunst, also said Aniston and Butler “had cocktails and … They were hand in hand.”

So, are they? Aren’t they? Unfortunately I think that if they are, we won’t know unless they one day decide to get married. And maybe not even then. You can’t blame Jennifer really. Every single relationship she’s ever had has been subjected to so much media scrutiny that it’s no wonder Jen’s trying to keep her newest prospects somewhat secret. It seems however that Jen is starting to come out more and more with this relationship. First her and Gerald were seen being snuggly-wuggly on set and now they’re holding hands right out in public! Does this mean that Jen has found someone she does want to get serious with? Hmm…maybe there will be wedding bells after all!

LeAnn and Eddie are in Hiding No More!

Well there’s one thing clear about LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian. Not only are they both homewreckers but they also like to move fast. Very, very fast. Not only did Eddie’s wife leave him shortly after the affair between her ex-husband and the singer went public, but LeAnn also left her husband, Dean Sheremet just a few days later. Now, when most couples are caught in the act, they usually try to be a little bit classy about it and hold off on flaunting their new-found love. Nuh-uh. Not the case here. Not only was Eddie seen leaving LeAnn’s house one early morning after having spent the night but the two also went out golfing later on that day together. Now, I don’t like shams and so I’m happy that they’re not pretending that they’re not together. But really. Have a heart for those people who’s lives you just completely shattered. From Star,

Their day of fun took a serious turn Thursday night when L.A.P.D. officers showed up at LeAnn’s home to investigate her involvement of a hit-and-run car accident. She reportedly was accused of leaving the scene of a car crash in Brentwood at 7:45pm, but no charges have been filed.”

When did LeAnn turn into such a bad-ass? Now she’s involved in hit and runs? And flaunting her boy toy just weeks after she has separated from her husband? It just really seems like non-LeAnn behavior. Maybe that’s just the point that she’s trying to get across to everyone. But nevertheless, all of this behavior is just disgusting in my books. I really never thought that LeAnn Rimes would be added to Hollywood’s list of bad girls.

Bump Watch: Heidi Klum

Only a person like Heidi Klum could make me gush while she stands wearing a tie-dye scarf draped around her hips and wears nothing on her legs. Add to the fact that she is very, very pregnant and it could quickly become an ugly sight. Not that I have anything against the human body in its most natural form, I really don’t. I happen to be one of those people that thinks baby bellies are just too cute for words. But my god, that outfit she’s wearing is just plain hideous. But hey, it’s Heidi Freakin Klum and she would look stunning, beautiful and stylish no matter what she wore. Heidi Klum really does amaze me every time I see her. And she’s always wearing that smile too. The one that screams (softly), “I’m just so very content.” And why shouldn’t she be? Married to Seal…expecting baby #4…supermodel…megamillionaire. Yep, this is one gal that has it all! We still have a bit of time left for Klum’s bump watches as she’s due in the early fall. Can’t wait to see that baby!!
