Jude Law Knocks Someone Up

Ooooh, this is good! It’s always a delicious piece of gossip when you hear that a celebrity, especially a huge celebrity like Jude Law, has gone and knocked up some girl who’s name we don’t even get to know. And it came as much of surprise to Law as it does to us, I’m sure. The mother of the baby is due in the fall, which is only a couple of months away. I’m sure Jude didn’t find out teh news and run to E! News about it either but regardless, I don’t think he’s had a lot of time for the news that he’s knocked someone up to fully sink in. Jude Law’s spokesperson has released the following statement exclusively to Entertainment Weekly and ew.com.
“Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year. Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made.”
Law, 36, is currently single and has three children with his former wife, Sadie Frost. He will appear on Broadway in Hamlet, which opens in October, and will star opposite Robert Downey Jr. in the movie Sherlock Holmes, opening Dec. 25.”

So congrats, Jude, on all the work coming your way, and for being busted as a player! Aw, I’m just giving him a hard time. The truth is that I do really like Jude Law, and even though this will be his fourth child, the other three are all with the same woman. Plus, you gotta love a guy who’s always willing to step up and do the right thing. We’ll see if that promise proves true.

Michael’s Mom Will Get His Kids

This is exactly why I didn’t understand all of the hoopla surrounding Michael Jackson’s will and who would get his kids. Since Michael’s will stated that his kids would go to his mother, Katherine Jackson, I didn’t understand why there was any question about it. She seemed ready, willing, and able, and was even willing to go to court. So, when did Debbie Rowe, Janet Jackson, and Diana Ross all come into it? Well, Diana Ross is stated to get the kids should Katherine not be able to care for them but as for the rest of it, I just don’t get where all the confusion came from.

Now though, we can put all the rumors and speculation behind us as we learn that not surprisingly, Katherine Jackson is going to get custody of Michael Jackson’s kids. From Celebrity Dirty Laundry,

“Michael Jackson’s mother has agreed a deal to get custody of his children.
Katherine Jackson – who became the temporary guardian of Prince Michael I, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II shortly after her son’s death last month – has reportedly reached an agreement with the eldest two children’s biological mother Debbie Rowe.

Katherine’s lawyer L. Londell McMillan told US TV programme ‘Early Show’: “It’s an agreement, an agreement for the best interests of the children. This is not a money deal. This is not about money. “There is no situation better for these children than for them to be raised and reared in the loving care of Mrs. Katherine Jackson.”

I am so glad that this custody situation seems to have been cleared up. Hopefully it stays that way.

Jen and Bradley are Pretty Tricky

Bradley Cooper takes Jennifer Aniston out and the media makes a big stink about it. He then, a few nights later, takes Renee Zellweger out and the media makes an even bigger stink about it. Then nothing. Okay, I just wanted to catch everyone up on what’s happening in this absurd love triangle. I would think that maybe Renee and Bradley are maybe quietly dating. Or maybe Bradley’s at home giggling to himself about how a nobody has made such a big stink in Hollywood. But, neither or those scenarios is true. In fact, if Bradley is with anybody, it’s with Jennifer and the two are keeping a very, very low-pro. Like, secret handshake kind of low-pro.

Apparently, Bradley and Jennifer have gone undercover as a couple and the two have gone to great lengths to make sure that the media doesn’t find out about it. So, were all the cutesy pictures with your hand on Gerard Butler’s chest and his arm around your waist all part of the plan, Jen? From National Enquirer,

“They sat off in a quiet corner, but Jen’s smile radiated throughout the whole club,” an eyewitness told The ENQUIRER.

“She sipped Grey Goose vodka and pineapple and kept her hand on Bradley’s leg most of the time.

“They weren’t shy about being affectionate. Bradley kept whispering in her ear and kissing her lips and neck. They slipped out arm-in-arm about 1 a.m.”

I don’t know if I believe this story. I mean, the whole thing just sounds so ridiculous and contrived. And it comes from the Enquirer, which sort of always leaves me guessing anyway. But you can’t really blame Jen for wanting her private life to be private for a little while. Her whole entire relationship with her first Brad was so blown up out of control. And then there was all the crap she put up with when dating Media Mayer. You can’t really blame her for going on a spy mission when it’s time to get ready for a date.

Is Kate Still in Denial?

While her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, has been out trying to get with just about anything he sees, Kate Gosselin has been sticking close to home with her kids and has been seeming to have some sort of struggle with the new divorce. While Kate rarely talks to paparazzi, this is certainly a case of actions speaking louder than words.

At some point during the whole Jon Gosselin/Hailey Glassman/Kate Major scandal, Kate had taken off her wedding ring, which she had said publicly before that it was something that she ‘just wasn’t ready for.’ It didn’t come as a surprise though that when Jon started behaving like a fool, she appeared to want the marriage behind her as much as he did, and she then took off her wedding ring. The day earlier this week that Kate stepped out with a bare ring finger, the pictures were everywhere and the general consensus was, ‘Yeah, I get that.’ But now, did all the pictures do something to change Kate’s mind? Does she really find it hard to rid herself of someone who’s turned himself into such a useless human being? I don’t know what the story is behind the reason why Kate is once again wearing her wedding ring but the time her finger went without it wasn’t very long at all. From US,

Ugh! I understand that it must be hard when you realize you’ve spent over 10 years of your life with someone, and now it’s time to part ways. And, when that person is the father of your 8 children, I can’t imagine how much tougher that realization is to come to. But, really. Look at the way the man is behaving! I sort of think that Kate might be playing up some sympathy votes and that she’s probably not the angelic mother sitting out on the lawn every day with her children either but at least she’s trying to keep a low-pro. At least she’s not humiliating herself and her family. Well, not until their show comes back from hiatus anyways.

Bump Watch: Heidi Klum

If there’s anyone who could have a baby that’s ready to pop out of her, and still look beautiful and glowing, it’s Heidi Klum. The model was caught walking around the park the other day, barefoot in the grass, and even with her belly button all popped out, the woman still looks amazing! I think what I love most about Heidi Klum is that she always looks happy. Pregnant or not, walking down a runway, hosting her show, or just grabbing a coffee with her hubby, Seal, Heidi always seems to just be loving the moment and loving life. I think that’s one of her most attractive qualities. Congrats again to Heidi and Seal as they wait for their little girl to show up any day now! And thanks to the Daily Mail for the pic and caption.

Are Fergie and Josh Already Headed for Divorce?

I was kind of grossed out when Josh Duhamel and Fergie got married. And it was for no other reason than the fact that he’s so yummy and she’s so - ew. But reports are coming out now that these two might not be as happy as they seem and that they are even considering divorce.

I didn’t give this story too much credit when I first heard it a couple of days ago. But I’ve come across it a few times since then so, that always makes me wonder. And Fergie and Josh really do seem like they are just ridiculously in love with each other. I can’t see that fizzling out after 6 months of marriage and a long engagement. This particular source comes from the National Enquirer, so make of it what you will.

“Fergie looked so drunk that night that she was basically throwing up as her security team escorted her out through the kitchen,” the source said.

“She’d been pounding back vodka and tequila. Josh was nowhere to be seen that night. You’d never think she was a newly married woman!

“Josh is still madly in love with her, and she loves him. But Josh wants Fergie to grow up.”

I also find it hard to believe that Josh Duhamel is so stupid that he thinks people change once they get married. They don’t, not as people anyway. And if Fergie’s a partier, she’s a partier. And that won’t be any different once that band is slipped around her finger. And I have a funny feeling that Josh knew that too and was okay with it. I also don’t understand why apparently, it’s not acceptable for married women to drink. You have some shots and all of a sudden, you’re not acting like a newly married woman? I don’t see the rationale there.

No, I don’t think this story is true. I think it’s once again, people looking for something that isn’t there. Tomorrow we’ll be hearing about how Fergie’s pregnant (again) and how the couple are ‘just delighted’ about it. Please. I think unfortunately for them, they’re happy and in love and that’s boring for people to watch. So instead, they’ll just make stuff up about them.

In the Most Immature News of the Day

There’s nothing that says, “I’m taking the high road” after a breakup than posting signs telling people how much you dislike your ex. That’s exactly what Tony Romo has done with Jessica Simpson, after she’s kept relatively quiet post-split. Nope, she’s not welcome there, nuh uh. Tony Romo has actually posted a sign on the gates of his mansion, saying that Simpson is no longer privileged enough to grace its entrance. Oh boo hoo. I hate this. A lot.

I hate that Tony Romo apparently seems to think that he’s God and that people are to be deemed worthy or not to step onto his precious territory. I hate the fact that he feels this is necessary, or appropriate, behavior. They broke up and Jessica hasn’t even made a statement yet. She’s not staying awake at night thinking up ways to humiliate him. Ugh! And my dislike for Tony Romo grows. From US Weekly,

And red alert? Okay, I realize that Jessica Simpson is a touch annoying but she’s not exactly a bomb threat. I think I’m going to go post a sign on my door. It’s going to be an Emergency Alert stating that Tony Romo is no longer on my list of people allowed in my house. He’ll never see it, or know about it, but it’ll make me feel better.

Jesus Luz is Madonna’s New Protege

Back off, Britney Spears, Madonna has a new protege in the making and it’s none other than her former lover, Jesus Luz. Reportedly, Madonna dumped the much-younger man just a short while ago but that doesn’t mean that she’s lost interest in making him a star. I guess the modeling career that she had laid out for him didn’t go so well because Madge’s next step is to make Jesus a pop star. Yeah, I can just see it now, can’t you? In my vision of the whole thing, it looks like it will probably be much like Paris Hilton’s singing career. He’ll release maybe one single and we’ll only know that he has an album because we read about it somewhere. Oh, a pop star Jesus Luz is not. From Pop Crunch,

Well, Jesus really is Madge’s little project that just won’t quit, isn’t he? Unfortunately for him, it’s going to be difficult to replicate the impact Madonna has had on music. I don’t know if he’s looked in a mirror lately, but he’s much different than Madonna. Not to mention the fact that not even someone of the same sex can replicate Madonna. She can try as hard as she wants but if Madonna wants a protege, she might want to find another Britney (let’s face it, Brit doesn’t need a mentor anymore.) But Jesus Luz just ain’t gonna cut it.

Hudson Goes Public with A-Rod

It’s no secret that Kate Hudson has been trying to keep her relationship with Alex Rodriguez a secret ever since they started dating a few months ago. But, this headline still confuses me. Apparently over this past weekend, Kate Hudson went to support her man at the annual New York Yankees picnic and they had a pretty passionate kiss-fest while paparazzi and reporters were all too happy to watch and snap away with their cameras. What confuses me about this story is that I can’t find any pictures that were supposedly snapped. Who’s hanging on to the goods? From Contact Music,

But this thing with A-Rod has been going on for awhile now and it may be time to come out of the “I’m dating a huge baseball star” closet. I also really want to see those pictures!

Jessica and Honor Out for a Bite

Over this past weekend, Jessica Alba and her daughter, Honor Marie, were seen out and about, stopping for a bite to eat at the Newsroom Cafe. I always think that Alba looks like she takes life a little too seriously and this picture is no different. Could she look any angrier as she’s out for a sunny stroll with her daughter on a beautiful afternoon?
