It’s True! Jennifer’s Love is with Jamie!

When Jamie Kennedy made his radio announcement that he was knockin boots with Jennifer Love Hewitt, I thought he was being funny and teasing the media about the crazy rumors that are constantly made up. Normally, I wouldn’t think so but Hewitt just broke it off with her fiance Ross McCall over the Christmas holidays and while it’s understandably a huge hit to take personally, her friends and family also talked about how destroyed she was by the split. But it seems that her heart mended quickly as the rumor about Jennifer and Jamie was never rumor at all. They’re together and she is busy nursing him back to health. From Gossip Girls,

“Busying herself with an afternoon of chores, Jennifer Love Hewitt was spotted dropping by her mom’s house to pick up some laundry detergent yesterday (March 29).

The “Ghost Whisperer” starlet fully embraced the impending spring season by going barefoot, looking cute in a powder blue dress as she hopped into her Bentley.

In related news, J. Love has been taking good care of her boyfriend Jamie Kennedy as he’s been recovering from some issues with kidney stones.

A source told press, “He had comedy shows scheduled in Boston, but he canceled them because of his kidney stones. He felt better later in the day and went home, but on Thursday he started hurting again and he went back to the hospital.”

I do like Kennedy so much better than I liked McCall but something about this just doesn’t seem right to me. When McCall and Love broke up, no one really knew why and the official statements from their reps included name-calling and throwing insults around. It makes me think that Kennedy had something to do with the breakup, even if he only had a small piece of Love’s heart at the time. Or was she actually seeing him behind McCall’s back? Hmm…so scandalous for Jennifer Love!

Another Celebrity Mom tries to Make Rich

Celebrity families sure don’t operate as normal families do. Not only must you worry about every little thing you do ending up in a tell-all book but grandparents also don’t worry about spending time with their grandkids going to the park or baking cookies. Rather, that’s not what they’ll miss should they lose out on time with their grandkids.

Candy Spelling, mother of Tori Spelling and wife of the late Aaron Spelling, has one of those tell-all books and more than that, she wants to tell her story of how her husband died, her daughter hates her, and how she’s going to live out the rest of her life a lonesome grandmother, to just about anyone who will listen. I’m always a little skeptical of celebrity parents that try to make money off of their kid’s accomplishments but this one is just extra-pathetic. Candy has done her own mud-slinging and name calling towards her daughter and has done things, such as publicly voicing her disapproval of Tori’s husband, Dean McDermott, time and time again. I actually don’t blame Tori for not wanting anyone in her family in that environment. From People,

“Candy Spelling is starting a new chapter in her life, which includes writing a frank memoir called Stories From Candyland – and selling the $150 million, 56,000-square-foot mansion where she’s lived since 1991.

Spelling, whose book is due out March 31, plans to move from her five-acre French Chateau-style mansion into a $47 million condo with 17,000 square feet; the same footage as her current attic. But she tells PEOPLE that she’d never have put Spelling Manor on the market if she thought she’d reconcile with her estranged daughter Tori, her husband Dean, and their two children, Liam and Stella.

“I don’t see Tori and Dean anymore,” the 63-year-old grandmother tells PEOPLE. “I used to see Liam, but no longer. And I’ve never met Stella.”

Despite the family’s fracturing, Spelling says: “If I had any hope that I would have a relationship with my grandchildren I would never sell this house. I’ve fantasized for years about a wonderful playhouse on the grounds for children.”

Although she spent four years planning the home before she moved in, she’s selling it now because, “It’s just me in this big house,” explains Spelling.

“Someday my grandchildren will know who I am because of the trust funds I’ve set up, but I would like to be part of their lives now,” says Spelling. “I would have loved to have built that playhouse for them.”

I honestly can’t believe that she goes on and on about this stupid playhouse and then throws in at the end that she wants them to know who she is. And again, with celebrity families, you know who people are by the money they give you. Nice. I have less sympathy or respect for Candy Spelling than I do for Lynne Spears, and that’s saying something.

Your Daily Madge

I think Madonna thinks that it’s the 1980s and that she’s a 20-something pop star that needs to be constantly making headlines and stirring up controversy that has people talking. While it was cute at the time, she’s much older now and it’s just not flying with me. Much to my own disappointment, because I once really liked the woman. But she is making daily headlines, and she’s not being cast in the nicest light. First there was her affair with A-Rod, her subsequent divorce from Guy Ritchie, her grotesque relationship with Jesus Luz, not to mention her most recent trouble with the Malawian government, over her pending adoption. On top of all of this, now her personal staff is also leaving her to fend for herself as they have also tired of Madge’s controlling ways. From Pop Crunch,

“Five members of Madonna’s staff have hit the Material Girl with letters of resignation amid claims that the singing star demands too much of her employees.

Personal assistants Johanna Edholm, Denise Lamberston, nannies Elodie and Angela Jacobson, and driver Alistair Mitchell have handed parted company with The Material Mom, citing long working hours as their primary reason for their departure, Britain’s PEOPLE reports.

The walkout comes as a huge blow to Madonna, who arrives in the Central African nation of Malawi today to adopt a new child.

“Madonna’s relied on the nannies to care for her kids whenever she is working. All Madonna’s employees work incredibly long hours,” says one source.

“Bank holidays are normal working days and there’s no special allowance for Christmas,” another insider added. “Her attitude is she is a superstar and is expected to work, so why shouldn’t her staff?”

“They don’t really have a life of their own.”

Sheesh! I guess the woman just never learns that you can’t try to change or control people and push them around like they’re yesterday’s trash, and still expect them to stick around you. Good luck, Madonna, trying to find somebody to put up with your crap!

Winehouse is Lost Once Again

Although she has been reported lately to be relatively clean of drugs since her extended vacation down in St. Lucia, Amy Winehouse’s latest statements about her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, have some thinking that she may be back on the dope after all. Or maybe it’s just me. She has not been hesitant in the past couple of weeks opening her mouth and spouting about how much she loves Blake and how she will not walk away from the marriage, nor was she willing to let him do the same. This much to her parents’ dismay, I’m sure as they have been just as vocal about how bad Blake is for their daughter. But they may not have to worry after all. According to Amy’s last Facebook status, she’s ready to let go. From Hindustan Times,

“British singer Amy Winehouse seems to have changed her mind about her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, showing signs that she was now ready to let go of the relationship.

Winehouse recently changed her Facebook status, saying “if you love him, let him go”, reports thesun.co.uk.

In the recent past, she had repeatedly claimed that she would strive to work on the marriage and maybe even give up her music career to be with her husband.”

Amy and Blake both change their minds so often about how they feel about their spouse that it’s not even really worth reporting anymore. What was actually most interesting about the article was that it later went on to say that Amy was recently caught outside of her home in London and when approached by paparazzi, she actually didn’t throw a fit and try to attack any of them. She just said that she was going to the doctor. Wow, maybe Amy’s getting better after all.

Because it’s been awhile since we looked at Jen & Violet

It’s been a little while since we’ve checked in on Jennifer Garner and her older daughter, Violet but that doesn’t mean that they haven’t been keeping busy by running back and forth between preschool, art classes, and everything else in that busy little girl’s schedule. This pic was snapped last week as Jen picked up Violet from preschool and it looks as though they each had a good day - check out those dimples on both of them! Shocking Reese Behavior

While Reese Witherspoon has had her fair share of headlines regarding her love life, this story isn’t actually one of them. I’m posting it anyways simply because, it’s so shocking to hear about Reese acting in a way that’s anything other than calm, cool, fun, and of course, the ever-doting mother. But even Reese has her days and it seems that just last week, she had a very Nicole Richie moment herself. From Gossip Girls,

“Not in the best of moods on this particular day, a slightly peeved Reese Witherspoon was spotted making her way around Santa Monica on Saturday (March 28).

Yelling at paparazzi following closeby, the 33-year-old actress allegedly grabbed up one of the shutterbug’s camera’s - unwilling to give it back as she made her way to her nearby car.

The weekend outing coincides with the recent release of Reese’s new animated flick, “Monsters vs. Aliens” - which hit theaters just yesterday.

Asked what drew her to the film, the bubbly blonde replied: “Its message. I think it’s great that this movie has a message that no matter how weird you feel you definitely have a place in this world and sometimes that can be your greatest benefit. I thought it was a great evolution of a character who starts out as sort of this 1950s, very innocent, sweet girl and she has to find her inner strength to realize she has to be responsible for herself and ultimately save herself and save the world.”

So I guess when Reese has got a scowl on her face, the paps may want to stay clear. At least she didn’t hit him, throw the camera at him, or drive over his foot, as we all have known celebrities to do in the past. What I like about this story so much is that it makes Reese out to be an actual person and while she always seems so down-to-earth anyways, she does at the same time usually play the part of the happy, bubbly blonde. It’s good to see that she lets loose with some explicits once in a while, before all of the happiness becomes nauseating. It shows another side of her that I think is important to see, because it’s real.

Paris Tries to Push her Weight Around

Paris Hilton has once again demanded that things work out exactly as she states that they should but this time unfortunately, her commands were not met with kindness and people have ended up getting hurt because of it. Paris was out having a great time boozin and cruisin with her boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt, when Paris wanted different music to be played and so she ordered her bodyguard to hit the DJ until he succumbed to her demands. Okay, that may be a little dramatic but really, it seems that’s about the way the story has played out. From Contact Music,

“The hotel heiress was enjoying a night out at the Winter Music Conference at the Fontainebleau hotel nightclub in Miami, Florida on Thursday night (26Mar09) when violence flared up.
Hilton claims her boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt, was left bloodied and bruised after stepping in to defend her when she was shooed away by one of DJ Steve Angello’s bodyguards. The star claims a group of “six guys” then attacked her lover.
But the Swedish beatmaker claims it was actually Hilton’s bodyguards who started the fight - by punching him in the face after he refused to play a song the star had requested.
Angello tells WENN, “Paris’s story is a joke. She kept demanding I play hip-hop, not Madonna, Daft Punk or anyone else - I’m not a hip-hop DJ. I don’t have a bodyguard either. Her guy punched me first and I defended myself. No-one else was involved. She might be used to people saying yes to her 24/7, but she’s not going to get that from me. The Winter Music Conference is about the music, and that’s the reason people travel to it from all over the world. It’s not about spoilt girls getting what they want.”

When I read into this story a little further than just what the headlines told, I was actually a little shocked that this was all that had happened. I say ‘all’ loosely  because someone (an innocent party, may I add) did get punched but the other headlines would have you believing that Doug beat the crap out of someone to defend Paris’ honor. Please. Those stories were probably nothing but Paris plants too. 

But it does seem as though Paris and Doug are still together. Does that mean that the whole blown-off proposal story was bogus? Or are they both so stupid that they think a relationship can take that kind of rejection and still last? With these two, I’m betting on the latter.

One More Reason to Hate Mayer

It was just reported not even a week ago that Jennifer Aniston broke up with John Mayer over his constant Twittering and playing with his status updates. This, while never confirmed by any camp, was very easy to believe, since Mayer’s Twitter updates made headlines on an hourly basis (god only knows why, they were always so stupid.) But they often included his girlyfriend, Jen, and that made her mad. Especially considering that one of the ‘rules’ when they got back together was that he shut his mouth about their relationship. Wow, if Jen thought she could shut John’s mouth, she’s a better woman than I thought she was. 

Anyways, all of this to come to the point of this story, which is that John Mayer has decided to denounce Twitter, and everything it stands for. He even compares it to poop. I’m not kidding, poop. This just shows that John Mayer is an idiot, who has no idea what he’s doing or why he’s doing it. I hope Twitter slams a lawsuit on him for slander. From Celebitchy,

“I’ve always communicated at a high level as best I can whether it’s Twitter, Napster or message boards or wherever,” Mayer said. “I don’t have a devotion to Twitter. I didn’t sell out to Twitter. You do Twitter until everybody gets off of Twitter and it’s something else you go and try out.”

He’s so stupid. I think what this really is, is John’s subtle ploy to Jen, telling her that he no longer sends pictures of his poop to people and won’t he please, please, take her back? Don’t do it, Jen! You deserve so much better than this village idiot who doesn’t know when to just. shut. up.

Madonna’s Problems in Love and Adoption

It’s not easy being Madonna. First Guy Ritchie doesn’t let you bat him around with that fly swatter and then you realize that the 22-year-old that you’re dating just isn’t as mature as you thought he was. Huh. Yes, Madonna has broken it off with the man who could be her son, Jesus Luz because she wouldn’t meet him mom for Mother’s Day and he threw a hissy fit. This just goes to show how stupid he is. Luz had a pretty sweet deal being hooked up with Madonna and set up in her NYC crib. And because he’s taken not too long to show his true colors, it just goes to show how stupid she is. All that came out of that relationship was that she made herself appear to be the desperate old hag that she is. From Digital Spy,

“Madonna has split from Jesus Luz following a row over her lack of commitment, a report claims.

According to The Mirror, the 50-year-old popstar angered her Brazilian boyfriend by refusing to meet his family on May 10, which is Mother’s Day in his home country.

The argument apparently resulted in the singer deciding to call time on her relationship with 22-year-old Luz.

“It was a huge wakeup call for Madonna that Jesus really isn’t the man for her,” a source told the newspaper. “Things were moving too fast and they were practically living in each other’s pockets.

“Jesus felt so rejected when Madge was dragging her heels over the family meeting in Brazil. Mother’s Day is a big deal for him as it’s tradition for all of the Luz matriarchs to be celebrated, including his 37-year-old mother.”

I can see how it would be awkward to meet your boyfriend’s mother when you’re considerably older than she is. So that stupid relationship is over and I’m glad I don’t have to talk about it anymore. But Madonna’s biggest problems actually stem from her pending Malawian adoption, where she will file official papers next week. Madonna is reportedly having problems with the family of the girl, Mercy James, that she wants to adopt.

From the sounds of it, I don’t really understand why Madonna has to adopt this particular girl, as she has family that’s willing to take care of her. I know lots of people say that she’s doing a great thing, giving these kids a better life and that may be true, in the physical and material sense but taking these children away from their homes and family is not giving them a better life. David Banda still had a grandfather back in Malawi when Madonna adopted him in 2006 however, that controversy was over the fact that the Malawian government had bended the rules to make the adoption go through. This time, the girl’s family is actually saying that they don’t want her to go. From Contact Music,

“MADONNA is facing strong opposition over her bid to adopt a girl from Malawi - a leading childrens’ charity and the tot’s grandmother have condemned the singer’s plans to take home orphan MERCY JAMES.
The pop superstar has confirmed she will file adoption papers in a Malawi court next week (begs30Mar09) to legally adopt the four-year-old.
Mercy James has reportedly been removed from an orphanage and is in the care of a nanny at Kumbali Lodge, outside Lilongwe, where the singer has stayed on previous visits.
But Madonna has come under scrutiny from bosses at U.K.-based charity Save The Children, who claim it is best for a child to stay in their homeland surrounded by their extended family.
A representative for the charity says, “For the most part so-called orphans in poor countries tend to have family still available to them, if not actually a parent still living.
“It is vital, we say, that children should not be taken abroad to be looked after but should be cared for in their own environment by their own community, ideally by their own family, particularly their extended family.
“You cannot literally take every poor child who may only have one parent living, or no parent living, across the world and transport them all into Kensington in London. It’s not a solution.”
The charity’s appeal to the star comes on the same day the child’s grandmother has hit out at Madonna for her bid to adopt Mercy James - accusing her of “stealing” the youngster from her biological family.
Lucy Chekechiwa, 61, tells Britain’s The Sun newspaper, “Why doesn’t this singer pick other children? It is stealing. I want to go to court, I won’t let her go.”
Chekechiwa insists the child is supposed to return to her care when she turns six, and that orphanage officials have reneged on their “initial agreement”.
She adds, “They told me when I visited her last month that they want to find a better education and home for Mercy. But I am sticking to the initial agreement that Mercy will return home to me after she reaches six years old.”

Madonna will end up getting this child because she is Madonna and to be honest, I think it’s sickening. There are plenty of other children that she could adopt, and there certainly have to be plenty of other children in Malawi if she’s so hell-bent on adopting from there, that don’t have family to take care of them that it’s completely unnecessary to take those who do have biological family that wants so badly to take care of them.

I Can’t Believe They’re Both So Dumb!

Just a few days ago, it was reported that Doug Reinhardt was ready to take things to the next level with his new sweetie-pie, Paris and that he was going to ask her to marry him. When I say ‘new’ sweetie-pie, I mean new. Like, they’ve been dating for two months new. Mostly because of this fact, I shrugged the entire story off thinking that it was just part of the normal slew of garbage that comes out when people start seeing other people. But apparently, the story was true. Not only that but Doug has already proposed and Paris has already blown him off. Well, maybe not exactly. She didn’t really say ‘no’ but, she sure as hell didn’t say yes either! From Pop Crunch,

Hours before the dinner, Doug hinted that he was ready to pull the trigger with a posting on his Twitter page, writing: “I’m about to do something very exciting and life-changing. I’ll announce what happens later.”

Doug, 23, presented Paris with a lavish Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring, but the socialite snapped the ring box shut and said she would need time to consider his proposal, Bang Showbiz reports.

I’m tempted to think that Doug simply gave Paris a ring just for being his new gal, and that it had nothing to do with pending nuptials or exchanging vows. Paris, being the spoiled rotten brat that she is most likely didn’t deem is worthy for her precious fingers and snapped it shut. That’s what I’m tempted to believe. Only because, I don’t actually want to believe that they’re both so stupid. Doug for thinking that it’s a good idea to marry anybody after dating them for two months and Paris for thinking that you can tell someone you’ll ‘think about’ marrying them and not have that have a huge negative impact on the relationship. If someone asks you to marry them and you can’t say yes, generally the only other answer is to part ways. It’s too big of a hit for the people, or the relationship, to take.
