Michael Bolton and Nicolette Sheridan call it quits

Desperate Housewives star, Nicolette Sheridan and super-star Michael Bolton ended their engagement, said a publicist for the pair.
The 44-year-old actress and 55-year-old singer have been engaged since March 2006. Theirs had been a long-time, on-again-off-again romance. They first started dating in 1992 and spent five years together, Perna said, then rekindled their romance in 2005. Maybe it makes sense that when you can’t commit to something initially, it won’t really work out in the long run?
Either way, according to the publicist, the split was amicable. But isn’t that what every publicist has to say? What we really want are juicy details, but I doubt there’ll be any of that any time soon …
