Naomi Watts Has a Full Plate

Between toting son Alexander around and preparing for another child, Naomi Watts says she doesn’t need to worry about a wedding. She and the babies’ father piled the family in the car for an outing and while it seems like she’s enjoying somewhat -domestic bliss, Naomi told the London Times Online, “”Maybe, I don’t know . . . I never say never, but I’m not desperate to get married. I’m not someone who has always dreamt of a wedding day. I’m more disbelieving. Or have been.” She pauses. “Well, that was my original stance. You loosen up about things as you get older.”

She isn’t spending all her time being a domestic diva - she’s working on three films: a remake of The Birds, as well as an adaptation of Shakespeare’s King Lear and Need, alongside Nicole Kidman. I

The Latest on Ben and Jen

While their reps are being very close-mouthed, everyone else is talking about the new pregnancy of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. Of course, when their good friend, Victor Garber let it slip that she was indeed preggers, everyone started to try and get pictures of that first sign of a bump! Meanwhile of course, everyone was also busy playing the “Is she or isn’t she?” game. Well, there’s no denying it now and Jen has been seen proudly walking around the new site of their new Brentwood home displaying that cute little pooch sticking out from her svelt figure. And another good friend has also confirmed her pregnancy. Although at this point, no further confirmation is needed. From Gossip Girls,

This is going to be such a fun pregnancy! Not only are these parents front runners for the title of “Most All-American Parents” but they are also so into just being a family and raising their kids properly. No need to mess with scandals in this family, they are here to stay and they seem pretty unstoppable!

Kate No Longer Taking the Tour de Lance

This has been the summer of hot romances and unexpected break-ups. First Drew Barrymore and Justin Long have a whirlwind romance that seems to be unbreakable and they suddenly break up and now Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong have ended their intense summer romance for reasons that remain unknown. From the Daily Blabber,

“The couple, who had been dating for about three months, have reportedly split. They were both at the Lance Armstrong Livestrong Summit in Columbus, Ohio this past weekend, and that’s where said breakup supposedly took place.

“There was no drama or ugliness – They just decided to end things,” a source close to the couple told UsMagazine.com. “There is no hatred, just sadness.”

I really thought that after having both their fair share of heartache, this might really have been it for both of them. It’s sad to see such a great relationship split up after you see them interacting with each other’s family and kids so well. Not to mention that Kate and Lance are both just so darn cute you just wanna pinch their cheeks! It’s hard to swallow that such great couples break up and people like Paris and Benji are still together!

A Truly Amicable Breakup?

I’m not sure there ever really is such a thing, but according to US Weekly, that’s what Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong have - an amicable parting-of-ways. After spending a few months testing the waters of a relationship, the couple apparently decided it was time to call it quits. The magazine says there wasn’t any drama surrounding the breakup, they just both decided to go their separate ways.

While the two were together, Kate was seen cheering on her BF at many of his races and events, including his three-day Lance Armstrong Livestrong Summit in Columbus, Ohio this past weekend.

I’m not a huge Lance Armstrong fan, but I do love Kate, and although the romance was short-lived, it seems like the two got along well, and even made efforts to involve eachother’s kids -who also all seemed to get along well. But - I’m sure Kate won’t be single for long!

Some Kids Just Can’t Play Nice

And in this case, guess who it is? A-GAIN?!? That’s right, our favorite divorced couple, Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen are back at it, both trying to win the “I can play nastier than you can,” game. Fun for everyone, isn’t it? Especially their children, who no doubt are so incredibly screwed up that they’ll never see straight! This time, as usual, they are using those poor children as weapons with Denise saying that Charlie has molested his own children and Charlie turning around and meeting those accusations with a charge - for dragging his name through the mud once again. “A new story tells that Denise was trying to say that she thinks Charlie molested their daughters. Charlie and his lawyers immediately denied it and showed video of the girls acting normal around him and got the “evidence” dismissed .

A source (we hope not a friend of Charlie’s with an ax to grind) told Page Six that Denise only dragged Charlie into court because her reality show is tanking and she’s desperate to drum up excitement even apparently at Charlie’s expense:

“She thinks a court battle would be good for ratings so she wants all overnight visits with the girls ceased, and monitored visits with her nanny. She invited the media circus to the hearing and even wanted reporters in the judge’s chambers - which wasn’t allowed. It’s ridiculous.”

This is not the first source to say that this is all an attempt at boosting her own show and with Denise, it honestly wouldn’t surprise me. Once again, the woman does not think about anything before she does it and she is spending her precious time wondering just how to make a little more money and be just a little bit nastier. God, who else is just so over this?

Matt Damon About to Become a Dad Again

In my favorite news of the day, Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana, are about to have another little girl!! The couple, who were married in 2005 at a surprise ceremony in New York City Hall after a brief three-month engagement period. Just less than three years after their wedding date, they are now expecting their third…So for anybody who can do the math…Yep, these two sure move quick, although their oldest daughter is nine. Their second daughter, Isabella is two. Matt tells USA Today,

“I’m so outnumbered down here, it’s crazy,” Damon, 37.

And while they’re undoubtedly prepared with tons of hand-me-downs, one thing the couple doesn’t have yet is a name. “We decided to wait till she’s born,” Damon said. “We’re going to get a look at her and we’ll probably keep debating it!”

Well, hopefully they don’t name her something like Pear or Obey or some other “original” name that just sounds plain stupid. There may be hope - their other two daughters have very normal and pretty names. And I just don’t like to think badly of Matt so I’m hoping that they just choose a pretty name and be done with it. After looking at her, of course! Aw, they’re so cute!

Ugly Betty Babies

There’s a lot of baby talk around the set of Ugly Betty these days, with two of the stars of the show about to become new parents! Christopher Gorham is expecting with his wife, Anel Lopez Gorham, are expecting their third child and Rebecca Romijn and her husband Jerry O’Connell are about to become parents -twice when their new twin baby girls arrive! Eric Mabius and his wife are also about to welcome a new addition to the family! Gorham is quoted in Contact Music saying,

“We’re are very excited.”
But Gorham isn’t the only Ugly Betty star to become a new parent - Eric Mabius and his wife are expecting their second child later this year (08), and fellow castmember Rebecca Romijnannounced on Monday (28Jul08) that she is expecting twins with actor husband Jerry O’Connell. “

Although this is the third child for Gorham, it is a new experience in that it will be their first bundle of pink. I can just imagine how protected that little princess will be by her two big brothers, Ethan, who’s 4 and Lucas, who’s 7. Not to mention Daddy Christopher, who I’m sure will feel extra protective over this little girl! Christopher’s wife is due in January 2009.

Rebecca Romijn and her actor husband, Jerry O’Connell also have reason to be very excited, and they are! Although in true celebrity style, they kept it on the down-low before making their news a global matter. Celebspin says,

“When it came to telling her TV colleagues that she and husband Jerry O’Connell would be having twins, Ugly Betty’s Rebecca handled the announcement quietly before the news went public.

Not that their reactions were subdued. “[We’re] so excited,” said Betty star America Ferrera at Monday’s New York City premiere of her movieSisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.

“I’m so happy for them,” gushed Ferrera, 24. “They’re going to be the best parents. I don’t think there could be a more wonderful father to girls.”
